Today is my first day at my new job. I'm now a Mailwoman.
I woke up at 7 and started my day. I cooked myself a bit of breakfast and ate that. I fixed a lunch bag, did my hygiene shit, and got ready. Around 8:45, I left out. It took me 45 minutes to get to the post office and I made it on time, before 10. I parked my car in the employee parking, grabbed my things, and headed in.
Soon as I went in, they showed me where to go. I clocked in, was shown where everything was, and got assigned to a truck.
"We only have you working on a specific area until you get the hang of everything..." Lilian said
I smiled and thanked her.
"Well here's the truck which is already loaded for you, here are the keys, and have a good day..." she said looking at me while dropping the keys in my hand
She walked off while switching her hips. I laughed a lil and shook my head. I got on the truck and sat my things on the lil countertop thing. I started the truck and used my GPS to go to the specific area they needed me to do. It took me almost 50 minutes to get to that side of town. You can see the houses coming from a mile away. Shortly, I pulled into the housing community. I looked at the houses.
"Damn..." I mumbled looking around
I started going to each house putting mail in their mailboxes. It's a few people had to sign for their packages. Some of them were rich, snobby bitches. The rest were fine. I finally got done with them. Surprisingly it was that hard and it didn't take long. While riding to another housing community, I got a call. I slid in my headphones and answer.
"Wassup Ke..." I said
"I have been beating on this gotdamn door for 15 minutes. WHERE THE HELL YOU AT??" She yelled
"Who the fuck are you hollering at?"
"Don't make me come back and beat your lil ass..." I said making her laugh
"You ain't gone do shit..."
"Where you atttttt??" She whined making me roll my eyes
"Ke, I told you I started work today..." I said
She started whining some more.
"What's wrong Ke??" I said
"I need to stay with you for a bit..." she said softly
"Why? What happened??" I asked
"Mom keeps invading my privacy bro. She went into my room and found my strap. She ramshackle my whole damn room and found my other stuff..." she said
"What other stuff??" I asked pulling into the next housing community
"Weed, handcuffs, gag balls, vibrators, nipple clips, butt plu-..." she said but I cut her off with a scream
"That's enough you slut..." I said making her laugh
"Well you asked..." she said still laughing
"I did but damn. What happened after that??" I asked
"She was yelling and lecturing me as she
does..." she said
"Her and her sister definitely have that in common..." I said with a chuckle
"Then, she told me to throw it away or leave. So I left, I can't keep going through this shit with her man. I love my mom to death but I can't stay with her..." she said sighing
"Look don't worry about it. The spare key is in the pad on my door, the code is 3558. Get in the house and make yourself comfortable. Put your shit in the guest room. I'll be home a lil later. It's leftover pizza in the fridge but I'll bring food when I get off..." I said stopping at the first house and sliding the mail into the mailbox
