2 MONTHS LATER ON A MONDAY

Back at work and I had a different route. I have some of the same neighborhood but I have a few new ones.

I have evening shifts now. I'll just be hanging around the post office until it's time for me to head out.

I started early this afternoon cuz I wanted to get off a lil early. Ke and I are going to dinner to talk to her mom. Ke didn't wanna go alone so I told her I'll come.

I did the new neighbors first just to see how they were. Because it was morning weren't many of them out or even home. I didn't have any packages to get signed which was amazing. After like 3 hours. It was time to start on my usual neighborhoods. I started on them and it was a smooth job. Around 3:45, I was heading to my last neighborhood. The neighborhood where Lay, Aday, and Pretty Lady stay. I got to the twins' house and they were just getting out of the truck.

Even tho I had no packages for their mom to sign I got out.

They ran straight to me.

"Heyyy cuties..." I said hugging them

They both said Hey. I saw their book bags on their backs.

"How was school??" I asked them

"You're lil friend got in trouble..." Tamara(the mom) said

"Why??" I asked looking at her

"Tell her Aday..." she says making me look at Aday

I can tell the difference between them because Lay has a dimple and Aday's hair is much darker than Lay's.

"I hit someone..." she said looking down

"Why??" I asked dropping to her level while touching her hand

"She was annoying. She wouldn't stop yelling in my ear..." she said softly

"Well, Aday you're going to run into a lot of annoying people. Sometimes talking to them about what's bothering you could help or maybe removing yourself from them. That's just so it won't get to the point where you're frustrated..." I said looking at her

"That's all??" She asked

"Sometimes that's all you can do to prevent getting in trouble..." I said

"I'm sorry..." she said with her bottom lip out

I smiled at her.

"It's okay. You know next time..." I said

She nodded while smiling.

"Hug??" I asked them

They ran into my arms as I hugged them.

"Bye..." they yelled running into the house

"Is she in trouble with you??" I asked Tamara

"God no. That lil girl gets that from her mom. Her mom is annoying too. I want to pop her mom in the mouth also..." she said making me laugh

"She gets it honest huh..." I said

"Yes, she does..." She nodded

"Alright, see you tomar..." I said waving

She waved as she went inside.

I finished everybody and headed to the biggest house on the block. As I headed there, I saw a car drive into the driveway. As I got closer, out came her. She watched me as I pulled up. I finally made it to her mailbox.

"Can I help you, Pretty Lady??" I asked a bit loud so she could hear me

"Why is my mail late??" I asked walking a bit closer
