I woke up to the smell of breakfast. I got up and did my business and hygiene before going into the kitchen area. I saw the chefs cooking. I spoke and I went out back to sit by the water and enjoy some sun. When I slid the door open and walked out. I saw Winter and Scott cuddled up in the same spot from last night sleep. I turned around to go back in but Lilian, Zeke, Ke, and Siah were coming out the door.
"Look at these lovebirds..." Lilian said making me look at her
"They got some going??" I asked
"Isn't it obvious..." she said
"I don't think so. They prolly just really close..." Siah said
"I'm with her..." Zeke said talking bout Siah
"They are too close..." I said
"TIME TO GET UP!!" Lilian yelled
Winter jumped and Scott grabbed her pulling her close. He opened his eyes and looked at us as she buried her face in his chest. She lifted up and opened her eyes.
"Good Morning..." she said softly
They said morning back.
"No fucking way we slept out here..." she said as they sat up
Scott yawned as she laid her head on his back.
"We smell like night air..." she said
"Come on, let's go shower..." he said
She wrapped her arm around his neck and legs around his waist. He carried her in the house on his back.
"But it's nothing..." Lilian said looking at Zeke and Siah
"Whatever..." Siah said
"And instead of assuming, ask her..." he said
We started cleaning the stuff from last night and fixing the chairs back. After that, we let the screen and stuff up then headed back in. By this time Arya, Tee, and Dynasty had woken up.
"Morning..." Arya said sitting in Ke's lap
Tee and Dynasty spoke also. They sat on the couch and we were just talking about today's events. Scott came out of his room and joined us. Like 15 minutes later, Winter joined.
"What y'all talm bout??" Winter asked sitting between Zeke and Lilian
"Just the plans for the day..." Lilian said
"Today's spa day, right??" Winter asked
"Yes, it's around 3..." Lilian said
"What else are we supposed to be doing??" I asked
"Mini golf then we were going to a club tonight..." Lilian said
"Gotta find my party outfit then..." Winter said
We were sitting in the front just talking. The food was finally finished and we headed to the kitchen. We grabbed our plates and started giving out food. We all sat at the big kitchen table and started eating.
"So, how did everybody sleep last night??" Lilian asked
"I was a lil hot so I tossed and turned for half of the night..." Arya said
"And her tossing and turning messed up my sleep..." Ke said
"Sorry..." Arya said and Ke gave her a smile
"I slept like a baby..." Zeke said
"Shid, we know the way you were snoring..." Winter said making us laugh
"Gurl fuck you..." he says and she blew him a kiss
"I was knocked out all night, ain't wake up once..." Tee said
"I woke up once and it was to use the bathroom. Other than that, I was gone..." Dynasty said
"I slept good..." I said honestly
"Not gone lie, last night was the best sleep I had in a minute. I don't know what's with outside sleeping but I fucks with it..." Scott said
"I was thinking the same thing when I woke up. I ain't slept that good in a while, and sleeping outside was amazing. I wasn't hot or cold. Everything was just right..." Winter said smiling
"I need to try outside then..." Arya said
"The best sleep..." Winter said "Lilian how'd you sleep??"
"Oh Chile, as soon as my head hit that pillow I was out. I had been keeping myself up for 2 hours while we were watching that movie..." she said making us laugh
"Old woman can't hang..." Zeke said
"Right..." Winter said before eating some eggs
"Fuck y'all..." Lilian said flicking them off
"Love you too..." Winter said and Zeke kissed her shoulder
We continued eating with a bit of small talk. I kept finding myself looking at Winter. Lately, she's been looking so happy. It's like she's a new person. Skin glows and everything. I was looking at her when she looked up at me. Our eyes locked and I looked down at my food.
Scott's phone rang so he excused himself and left out.
"Winter..." Lilian called her
Winter looked up while sipping out her cup.
"I wanted to ask before I started assuming..." "Is there something going on between you and Scott??" Lilian asked
Winter choked on her orange juice.
"What??" She asked still coughing
"I mean you two are very close. Y'all are very touchy, so I just thought..." Lilian said
"Even if I was with him. Why you couldn't wait until I was ready to announce it??" Winter asked looking at Lilian
"I just wanted to know. After the marriage, I wanted to see you happy..." Lilian said
"Since you insist on being all in my business, Scott and I aren't anything. We're not together, we have nothing going or whatever. Scott is gay, I thought it was obvious. Scott and I are close because when I was going through what I was going through during the divorce and stuff, I vented to him. We talked a lot so that's how we became close. Scott is literally my best friend..." she said
"Oh okay..." Lilian said "Sorry for being all in your business. I just wanted to know..."
"Yeah, stop being nosy..." she said
We continued eating until we were done. We sat there for a minute before we took our trash to the kitchen and threw it away. The chefs were cleaning the kitchen. We decided to start getting ready for the day. I went into my suitcase to see what I was going to put on for the day. I decided on a lil calm outfit. I went to the bathroom to freshen up. I put on my clothes, sprayed on cologne, and decided to put on a hat and a flannel. I looked at myself and I was fucking with it.
