NEXT DAY
Today we both ended up calling out cuz we missed each other. I mean we've been away from each other for two whole weeks so it was only right.
Kassidy got some groceries delivered cuz we were planning to stay in the house all day. It didn't take the groceries long to come. She ended up cooking us breakfast. While she was cooking, I was talking to my parents. Their ass was headed on another road trip. They are the most adventurous people I know and I love it. They've been like that for as long as I can remember.
Breakfast was ready and Kassidy called me to come eat. I got up, grabbed my robe, and slipped it on while heading to the kitchen.
"It smells good in here..." I said
She smiled.
"What you made??" I asked hugging her from behind
"Grits, sausage, waffles, eggs, and I made mimosas..." she said
"Okayyyy..." I said making her chuckle
"Go sit, let me serve you..." she said before pecking my lips
"I feel bougie..." I said making her laugh
I sat at the table and waited to be served. She sat my plate in front of me while bending down and kissing me.
"Thank you, baby..." I said against her lips
"Welcome..." she said before pecking my lips again
She went to get her plate and sat it beside me. She went back into the kitchen and came back with our drinks. She sat down and we said a lil prayer before we started eating. This food was delicious not only that I was hungry.
"So, what we are going to do all day??" She asked
"We got games, movies, food, and the
bed..." I said smiling
"So nasty..." she said making me laugh
"That's not what I meant..." I said
"Sure..." she said
"So how's your dad??" I asked cuz I didn't get to talk to him much I was working
"He's good. That lil diet he's been on has helped with his bones and strength..." she said
"That's good. Bet he feels like Superman now..." I said making her laugh
"You know it. Talm bout he finna go built a house by himself..." she said making me laugh
"He's something else..." I said still laughing
We continued eating and talking. After breakfast, I was going to clean the kitchen, but she wouldn't let me. She carried me to the front and sat me on the couch. I sat on the couch until she came to the couch and picked me up.
"Where are you taking me??" I asked wrapping my arms around her neck
"The shower..." she said smiling
I looked at her confused.
"We showering together??" I asked
"Yeah..." she said
I looked at her shocked making her laugh.
"Do you want to??" She asked
"Yes..." I said quickly
She nodded as we made it to the bathroom. She put me down and started the shower. She untied my robe and took it off before I got in the shower. She slowly took her clothes off and joined me. She shut the curtain and looked at me.
"What??" She asked cuz I was looking at her
"Nothing..." I said before sliding my arms around her waist and hugging her
She wrapped her arm around my neck pulling me closer.
"I'm so happy that you've gotten comfortable with me. Trusting me enough to become open and vulnerable. Thank you..." I said looking up at her
"No, thank you. For not rushing me and letting me move at my own pace. For not making me feel wrong for feeling the way I did..." she said making me smile
"I love you..." I said
"I love you too..." she said
She leaned her head down and we started kissing. This kiss was very slow and full of love. We gently pulled away and smiled at each other. I wrapped my arm around her tightly and squeezed her. I laid my head on her shoulder smiling.
After everything I would've never thought I'll be this happy. I've never been this happy, this is a different type of happiness for me.
"You make me so happy..." I said
"You make me happy too Pretty Lady..." she said rubbing my back
We hugged and held each other very close for a while. That's until it was time for us to bathe and get out before we turned into raisins. After the shower, we put on comfy clothes and went to the front room. At first, we were playing games but we laid down to watch scary movies. That's until we got hungry and it took us a whole damn hour and a half to figure out what we wanted to eat. We decided to order something cuz neither of us felt like cooking. And that's what the day consisted of. Us eating, playing games, watching movies, and cuddling.
