*Winter
I wake up feeling very good and refreshed. I stretched and I felt an arm around me. I looked and I saw Kassidy laying down on the side of me with her arm around me. I smiled down at her as I ran my hand through her hair. She started moving a bit before opening her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and then looked up at me. We smiled at each other.
"Good Morning..." I said
"Morning..." she said while snuggling back into me
"Still sleepy??" I asked rubbing her shoulder
"No, you're very comfortable..." she said making me chuckle
We were quiet for like 20 minutes.
"What time are you planning on going home??" She asked
"What time is it??" I asked
She grabbed her phone and looked at the time.
"6:45..." she said
"I should be getting ready to head back..." I said rubbing her hair
"You went home pretty late last time. What he say when you got home??" She asked
"When I got home he hadn't made it in yet. He came in after I got out of the shower..." I said and she looked surprised
"What?!" She asked shockingly
"Yeah..." I said
"Wow..." she said
"So does he know about this??"
"I doubt it. But even if he did, I wouldn't
care..." I said honestly
"Really??" She asked and I nodded
"Why??"
"I went through the first 4 stages already. I'm at the last one, acceptance. I've accepted that I've been cheated. I've caught you, we've talked about it, but yet and still he cheats. I don't feel what I used to feel when it comes to him. At this point, I'm just there..." I said
"We not leave??" She asked
"It's easier said than done. Most of my money goes into our joint bank account. I do have money on the side, but not enough. And I know this may sound ridiculous cuz I'm a grown ass woman, but I'm scared to be on my own. I've never done it before. Once I graduated, I move straight in with Clark. And things have been like that since then..." I said looking at my hand
It was quiet for a while. She slid her hand up to mine and intertwined hers with mine.
"If you're interested, I can help you with being on your own. I've been doing it since I was 16, so I'm pretty good at it..." she said with a goofy grim
I chuckled.
"Would you really help me??" I asked
"Of course I will Pretty Lady..." she says smiling
"Once everything gets situated I will definitely take you up on that offer..." I said and she nodded
We got up and I went to the bathroom. I used it, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. Once I came out Kassidy went in and I put my clothes back on. I sat on the bed until she came out.
"I guess you gotta go..." she said coming up to me
"I guess..." I said pouting standing up
"I had you all weekend..." she said pulling me up
"You have and I really enjoyed myself..." I said smiling
"I have too, especially last night..." she said making me blush
"Yes...." I said
"When I'm going to see you again??" She asked wrapping her hand around my waist
"Later, we found out who will be going on the work trip. If I'm one of the ones going, this weekend. If not, you'll see me sometime this week..." I said wrapping my arm around her neck
"Where y'all going??" She asked
"New York. We'll be back Friday. Then, I have to deal with Clark's parents cuz they coming to town..." I said
"You don't sound excited..." she said with a chuckle
"I'm not..." I said and we laughed
I pulled her closer and hugged her. Her hand slid up my hoodie onto my lower back. She kissed my neck and I put my hand behind her head. She kissed my neck a few more times before I felt her tongue run up. I leaned my head back giving her more access. I bite my lips. She came up and she kissed me. She started using her tongue and our kiss became a lil sloppy. Her hand slid down and she squeezed my ass. I smiled into the kiss and we pulled away.
"Why are you smiling??" She asked looking at me
I shook my head and smiled harder.
"Get outta here before we start something..." she said making me laugh lil
I hugged her again before I grabbed my things and we left out. Ke and Arya were sitting in the front room. Ke looked at us and she smirked.
"Wassup Winter..." she said
"Hey..." I said waving
Arya waved and we left out the door. She walked me to my car, I put my things in the car and turned back to her. I pouted and she laughed.
"You're so cute..." she said smiling
"You too..." I said smiling at her
She hugged me and kissed me. I got in the car and headed home.
I stopped by the store grocery store to get the things we needed at the house. I went home and went in. Clark was coming down rubbing his eyes.
"Where have you been??" He asked
"Store..." I said going into the kitchen
"I woke up in the middle of the night and you were gone..." he said standing at the island
"Did you check outside at the pool??" I asked looking at him
He shook his head.
"Mmmm..." I said putting up the stuff I bought
"Can we talk about last night??" He asked
"You ready to apologize??" I asked
"Apologize for what, you are my wife..." he said
"Okay, what does that mean? I didn't give you consent or permission to touch me in that way..." I said
"Consent??" He said confused
"When have I ever needed consent to touch what's mine??"
"You don't own me, Clark. I'm not a fucking object that's YOURS!!" I said
"And if you're not apologizing about what the fuck you did to me last night when I was tryna be there for you. Don't fucking talk to me..."
I walked away and went upstairs. I grabbed my phone out of my hoodie pocket and texted Kassidy letting her know I made it home.
