2 WEEKS LATER
Today, I finally was able to get my money outta the joined account and moved it to mine. This was one step closer to being free.
I finally came back to the house today. Kassidy was very sad, but I reminded her it was only temporary. I needed to get some things straightened here.
I was sitting in the front room on the couch waiting on Clark. After like an hour and a half, he walked in.
"WINTER!!" I yelled
"Right here..." I said loud enough for him to here
He came into the front room and I can tell he was furious.
"What the FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" He yelled
"Can you come sit so we can talk like adults, please??" I asked looking at him
He sat on the couch and took a few deep breaths but I could tell my calmness was pissing him off.
"Clark I can't do this anymore. I can't keep pretending like I'm happy with you cuz I'm not. I took my money out of the account which I'm sure you've seen. I work hard for my money so it was only right. Secondly, I met CJ and Alex..." I said
He started talking but I cut him off.
"I don't want to know cuz I don't care. But what I do care about is you doing right by this child. He deserves that. It doesn't matter how you feel towards Alex, Clark please do right by him. Thirdly, I want a divorce..." I said
"No Winter. No, I'm not giving you a
divorce..." he said
"Clark..." I said
"NO!!" He yelled standing up
YOU'RE NOT LEAVING ME!! YOU'RE NOT DIVORCING ME! I'M NOT SIGNING THOSE PAPERS!!"
"I'm tryna make this easier for the both of us. I don't want this process to be dragged out and prolonged. We can just gone get this ova

"I'M NOT SIGNING SHIT!!" He yelled making me nod
"We'll just have to go before the judge..." I said
"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM!?" He yelled
"I just had enough Clark. I've been had enough, I'm just taking action. You can keep the house and stuff. I just want my things, my money, and my car..." I said
"YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME WINTER! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!? YOU'RE MY WIFE, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO STAND WITH ME THROUGH EVERYTHING. YOU CANNOT JUST LEAVE LIKE THAT. IM NOT LETTING YOU GO LIKE THAT, AND IM NOT SIGNING THOSE DIVORCE PAPERS!!" He yelled
"You can't keep me here. I don't want this anymore and I don't see why you want this. It's obvious you whether be with someone else so you can be free. Free to do who you want when you want..." I said before sipping my tea
He was having a tantrum while I sipped on my tea. He started knocking shit down, crying, and everything. I was still sitting.
I'm clocked outta this marriage. I don't want this anymore. My heart is somewhere else with someone else. It's with Kassidy. I'm not giving up something good to be in this fake ass marriage.
After his tangent, he sat on the couch and cried. I'm talm bout boohoo crying. He got on his knees and crawled up to me. He grabbed my hand as he cried.
"Winter baby please don't do this to me. I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry for doing fucked up shit. I'm sorry for having a kid on you. I'm sorry baby. Let's talk this out, we can go to marriage counseling together. We can go get some help. I don't want a divorce, I love you and only you. Please let's work this out..." he said on his knees crying to me
I looked at him for a second. I removed my hand from his. I grabbed my things and went upstairs. I closed the door, locked it, and sighed. This shit was giving me a headache.
I put my things on the dresser and I fell onto the bed. I grabbed my phone and Kassidy had texted me 10 minutes ago.

Me: Not too good, he threw a tantrum

Me: I'm fine. I'm just ready for this stuff to be ova so I can go about my business. And I miss you 😢

Me: I'm ready to come back home too😌. I'm not gone be able to stay in this house long so I'll be back shortly
MyLove🔐🧡: I hope so, cuz I hate sleeping alone now😩
Me: I can tell. Cuz some part of you gotta be touching me when you sleep.

We continued texting as I went to the closet. I wanted to start throwing away things I don't need and sort everything out. I was waiting for my approval for the townhouse. Once I get it, I pay my first month's rent and my last month's rent. Then, I can move in. It's a two bedroom, that's all they had available at the moment so I took it.
I was going through my clothes for like 2 hours before my stomach started growling. Right when did, Kassidy texted and asked have I ate. I told her I was bout to. I unlocked the door and headed downstairs. Clark was laying on the couch in his drawer sleeping. He had cleaned up the mess he made. I went into the kitchen to see what was in there. While looking my phone dinged. I grabbed it out of my pocket. It was a screenshot Kassidy sent of her getting me Chick-Fil-A delivered.

Me: I was actually looking for something to cook, but now I don't have to. Thank you, baby, ❤️
