I made it to the store, grabbed a basket, and started getting what I needed. While looking through the lettuce my phone dinged. I grabbed it out of my pocket, I looked at it and it was Baby telling me Ke and Arya were coming ova. In the midst of me replying, I heard my name. I sent the text and looked up. It was Clark's Aunt Mary.
"Heyy..." I said smiling speed walking to her
"Hey Sweetie, I haven't seen you in so long. How have you been??" She asked as we hugged
"I've been good, how have you been??" I hugged her tighter
"Chilling, me and my wife are holding an anniversary party next weekend..." she said
"Wife?!" I asked in shock
"Yes, we've been married for a year..." she said
"Why I didn't get an invite to the wedding??" I asked
"We didn't have a big wedding. It was a special ceremony with just her, me, and the kids..." she said
"Awww..." I said smiling
"How's Clark, I haven't seen him in a while??" She asked
"TT, I wouldn't know. Clark and I are divorced..." I said making her eyes go wide
"Since when??" She asked
"We've been broken up for like 8 or 9 months divorced for like 6 or 7..." I said
"Damn girl..." she said
"Good for you cuz his ass was no good..."
"And it took me too long to see it..." I said
We continued talking for a bit and my phone started ringing. I looked at it and it was Kassidy. I answered and looked at her.
"Pretty Lady..." she said
"Baby..." I said still looking at her
"Can you be a dear and get some ice cream for me??" she asked with a begging smile
"What kind??" I asked
"Vanilla..." she said
"What you finna do with some ice cream??" I asked
She smirked
"Kassidy get off my phone..." I said making her laugh
"But forreal Ke brought cookies to bake..." she said
"Okay, I'll be home in a minute..." I said
I hung up and looked at Mary. She had a smirk on her face.
"Who's that??" She asked
"Her name is Kassidy. She's my lover..." I said making her silently squeal
"Yesssss..." she said
"What??" I asked smiling
"Not gone lie, I was wishing someone would snatch you from him. Preferably a woman and I got my wish..." she said making me laugh
