Last month I finally had to guts to go get myself checked. I wanted to find out why I couldn't get pregnant and why I couldn't carry full-term last time. I was a nervous wreck the whole time I was there. But Kassidy was there as support so I wasn't too on edge.
But come to find out that I have an irregular ovulation. I don't release eggs regularly like other women. So my hormones are really imbalanced, that's why I couldn't get pregnant this time. The miscarriage just happened. Maybe something went wrong.
I'm happy it wasn't something too serious but I was still hurt. They didn't know what's the cause or if I'll ever release eggs. It was really hard to hear. Especially when you've always wanted your own child just to find out you may not be able to ever.
I just took that as I sign that maybe I thought I was ready but god knows I'm not ready. So as for right now, I think I'll just wait for the right time.
Kassidy was visiting her dad. They didn't know but I was coming down today. She went down 5 days ago so I let them have a full week to themselves. It was 5 in the morning and I was at the airport waiting for my flight which was at 5:45. I came an hour early so I wouldn't be behind and fucking around baggage claim.
I was on the phone with my parents cuz they were heading back home. They drove 11 hours away like 2 weeks ago to go visit some family.
My flight was finally called. We said our goodbyes and I headed to the gate. I got on the plane and went to my seat. I sat down and looked out the window cuz I love a window seat. It didn't take long until everyone was boarded and we pulled off. I put my headphones in and finished a few documents throughout the ride. Once I get to the house I could send them off to the boss. That was my last few projects of the week.
I ended up taking like an hour nap before we landed. I got off, got my bags, and got food while waiting for my Uber. They were 15 minutes away when I first booked it. The woman finally pulled up and helped me get my bags in the car. We got in the car and she took me to the house. It took a while cuz it was morning traffic. We finally made it and they were sitting on the porch. They were both looking at the truck confused. I opened the door and got out. A smile spread across her face and she ran to me. She hugged me and gave me a kiss. I tipped the driver in cash. Kassidy got my suitcase and bag. We started walking up the driveway.
"What are you doing here??" She asked smiling
"I missed you and I'm sure he was disappointed when I didn't show up with you..." I said smiling at her laugh at the last part
"I missed you too..." she said kissing my hand "And you know you were the first person he asked for..."
