I was let off work early cuz they said it was going to be a bad storm tonight. On my way out I called Kassidy to see where she was. She said they got let off early and she was headed to my house. I was going to stop somewhere to get us some to eat. While in the drive through my mind shifted back to what happened today.
Earlier~
"Your 2 o'clock is here..." she said
"Send them up..." I said before putting the phone down
I was waiting when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in..." I said looking at the door
The door opened and in walked Lilian and Simon. I smiled at them.
"Y'all didn't have to make an appointment you should've just called..." I said as they sat down
"You were on lunch, I didn't wanna disturb..." she said and nodded
How are you doing?? How are you feeling??" I asked her
"I'm doing good, just sleepy and hungry. But I'm feeling good tho..." she said softly
"So why y'all decide to come see me??" I asked
"Well, Simon and I were talking about the situation with the baby. We came to an agreement and we decided to keep the baby. We talked about everything. No matter who the father is, Simon is going to treat the baby as his own. We also wouldn't mind having another baby..." she said looking at me
I smiled and nodded.
"I understand. I'm glad you guys work through that and can move on to take care of the baby..." I said honestly
"I just feel really bad about getting your hopes up..." Lilian said
"No..." I said holding my hand out and she placed her hand in mine "I'm glad you've decided to keep your baby. I actually wanted to talk to you about that. Yes, I do want a baby. But as I sat down and thought about it, I wanted to experience it on my own. I want to carry my baby for 9 months and birth them. So, I was going to tell you to keep the baby..."
"Winter..." she said softly
"I'm serious. You guys go through this experience again and Simon make it good for my friend now ..." I said looking at him and he smiled while nodding
