After waking up I see that y'all aren't fucking with the end of this story.
Recently I was told that the endings of my books were predictable and it stuck. Seeing y'all compare Zion and Milan even Cleo and Delilah really confirmed that for me.
That wasn't how I was going to end it, but they weren't going to end up together anyway cuz I didn't want it to be "predictable"
My lesson was to always expect the unexpected. It's a lot has been going on in the world and I just had to show how one day things can be going well and in the blink of an eye, your whole life can change. Whether that change is good or bad.
And also never expect people to act the way you think they should. People can switch up in a matter of seconds. Not saying that's everybody but we've all experienced people like that before.
Lastly, I saw someone say it felt rushed. Life is rushed when has life ever slowed down for us??
I hope y'all understand why I ended like I did✌🏽
