We were on the way to the airport to drop Kassidy and Ke off. She booked a flight last night to go to her parents' house. She hadn't said anything since last night and she hadn't slept either. I hated seeing her in this state.
We finally pulled up to the airport. We got out as they grabbed their things.
"You going to be okay??" I asked Kassidy as I handed her her bag
"Yeah..." she said while nodding
"Okay, call if you need me. No matter what time it is just call..." I said and she nodded
Ke and Arya said their goodbyes.
"Text us and let us know when y'all land..." I said
Ke gave me a thumbs up and Kassidy headed to the door. They went in then Arya and I got into the car.
"I hate this for them..." Arya said leaning her head back on the seat
"Me too..." I said truthfully
______ We finally made it back to the houses and the rest had finally awakened.
"How was she??" Lilian asked
"She was okay..." I said sitting beside Zeke "Ke went with her so she has some support including her dad..."
"That's good..." she said and I nodded
We were just sitting in silence on our phones. The chefs were cooking breakfast and we were sitting around the front room.
"So what are we going to be doing today??" I asked
"I didn't have anything planned forreal. So if we find something we can do that or we chill in the house..." Lilian said
"Let's find something super chill to do cuz it is our last day..." Dynasty said
"I agree..." Scott said
"Look it up and see what they have..." Lilian said
We all started looking up chill things to do. We found an aquarium, tourist attraction spot, etc. We went to our rooms to get ready. I really couldn't focus forreal cuz I was waiting on a call or text saying that they had made it and that Kassidy was okay.
I went into my suitcase to see what I was going to put on. It is a bit cool outside so I wanted to dress in the proper attire. I had this little set that I brought to lounge in, but today was a good day to wear it. I put it on the bed, with some socks, and I put my shoes on the floor. While looking to find undergarments, it was a knock on my door.
"Come in..." I said
I watched the door as it opened revealing Scott, Siah, and Arya.
"Wassup..." I said
"You okay??" Scott asked sitting at the end of my bed
"Yeah, I'm okay..." I said "Just a bit worried..."
"I'm sure, she's fine. She got family with her so if she needs somebody they're there to help..." Siah said
"Yeah, I know. It's just I know how she was when she found out her mom had Alzheimer's now she's gone, I feel for her..." I said sincerely
"I understand..." Scott said
"Did y'all figure out what we were going to be doing??" I asked
"Zeke and Lilian decide on us going to do the tourist attraction tour. It's from 12 to 3, so after we can go find some to eat. Or we found out they have a lil carnival here and we can go there to eat and see what else we can do there..." Siah said
"Sounds good to me..." I said before going back to getting ready to get myself together
They started leaving.
"Arya let me know when you hear from them..." I said looking at her
"I will..." she says before going out and closing my door back
I went into the bathroom to do myself a soft face. I didn't get much sleep last night so my eyes were a bit swollen. It didn't take me long, so once I was done I started on my hair. I had to re-straighten it and fix my edges cuz my hair was not like was supposed to be. That took a lil longer than expected but I finally got done. I had already taken a shower before we dropped Kassidy and Ke off at the airport. But I did freshen myself up before I slipped on my undergarments. I moisturized my body before putting on my set. This set wasn't too much like I said it was cool and I didn't feel like dressing up today.
After that, I started putting on my clothes. I went to the mirror to fix the set to my liking before going into my suitcase to see what I wanted to put on my feet. I was going through to see what I thought looked good with the set. I found the shoes I was going to wear and I put them on. I changed my purse to my cream purse. I looked in the mirror again to look ova the fit. It was calm but still cute. I went back into my bathroom to find out what perfume I wanted to wear. Vanilla was the smell of the day so that is what I put on. After that, I straightened up what I did made a mess then I went to check my phone. Had a few notifications but nun of what I was looking for.
I sat on the bed waiting for everybody to finish getting ready to go. After like 30 minutes, Lilian called out for us. We all met up in the front and headed out the door. While we were in the car Arya's phone rang cuz Ke was calling. They were on the phone for like 15 minutes before they hung up.
"What's going on??" I asked
"She said everything is fine, but Kassidy is taking it very hard. She said she locked herself into her room to be away from everybody..." she said
I let out a small sigh.
I feel for her. I just can't imagine what she's going through. The only thing I can do is be there for her.
I pulled out my phone and texted her.
Me -Hey, I just wanted to check to see how you are doing. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I'm here for anything you need.
We made it to the place where we saw other people were going on this tourist tour. We were standing around for like 20 minutes before we loaded the bus they had us get on. They started driving and they were showing us around. Showing us the historic places and buildings. We didn't see much until we came on this and it was beautiful.
"I didn't know it was this much down here..." Scott said
"Right, this is beautiful..." I said looking around
While we walked around, I checked my phone every so often to see if she'd text back, but she hadn't.
We were looking around at different shops and stores just looking around. Around 2:00 we went to this bakery to get some to snack on before we headed back to the bus. We headed back to where we loaded the bus. It took us 45 minutes to an hour to get back. Once we did, we departed and then got back into our ride. We headed to the carnival.
