*Winter
I got out of the car and walked towards my car like I had just come outta Walmart. Clark saw me and stared at me until I made it to the car.
"What are you doing here??" I asked
"Why did you choose to embarrass me like that in front of my FUCKING PARENTS!! You don't come home, Winter. What the fuck was I supposed to say when MY WIFE not come home..." he said
"I didn't want to be there, that's why I didn't come home. You did that, I was fine and was going to stay home. But you insisted on fucking with me. THAT'S YOUR FUCKING DOING..." I said
"Who is he??" He asked
"What are you talking about??" I asked looking at him
"THE NIGGA YOU FUCKING THAT CAUSED YOU NOT TO COME!!" He yelled in my face
"DON'T GO THERE WITH ME. YOU ARE THE ONE OUT FUCKING BITCHES. YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CHEATS SO DON'T PUT IT ON ME!!" I yelled pointing in his face
He grabbed my arm and pushed me against the car.
"You out being a hoe..." he said
I reached my hand and slapped him with all of my power. He grabbed his face. I got in my car, started it, and drove off. After like 5 minutes, my phone started ringing. I looked at it and it was Kassidy. I hit the green button and hooked it up to my car.
"Hello..." I said
"Hey, you okay??" She asked
"Yeah, I'm fine. Clark was being a fucking asshole..." I said
"What was that all that bout anyways??" She asked
"Like you don't know..." I said
It got quiet. I let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry. I'm just frustrated..." I said softly
"It's fine. I'll talk to you later..." she said
"Okay..." I said softly
She hung up and I sighed.
"Fuck..." I said
I drove home and got out. I unlocked the door and was heading upstairs.
"Good Morning Sweetie..." Cathrine said heading out of the guest room downstairs
"Good Morning..." I said with a small smile
"You didn't come home last night, I was worried..." she said
"I'm fine, just need a breather..." I said
"Do you want to talk about it??" She asked
"I don't think I could or should..." I said
"I can help. It's a good opportunity for us to bond since I haven't come to visit in a
while..." she said
I was about to say some but the door opened. We looked and it was Clark. I rolled my eyes.
"Excuse me..." I said to Cathrine
I went upstairs into the room. I went to close the door and Clark pushed it open.
"Can you just leave me the fuck alone..." I said looking at him
He walked in and closed the door.
"Who is he??" He asked looking into my eyes
"Clark don't be delusional..." I said
"How am I being delusional??" He asked
"Your car was cold meaning it hadn't been on for a couple hours then all of a sudden you come outta Walmart. Your Nigga must work there..."
"Of course, the fucking car was cold Clark. I went to sleep in it cuz I can't stand being here near your ass. I'm not going to act like I wanna be here when you know what the fuck you have been doing..." I said
"Who are you hoeing around with..." he said grabbing me
"GET YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF OF ME!!" I yelled pushing him
"WHO THE FUCK IS HE!?" He yelled coming in my face
"CLARK GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!" I yelled walking away
"I SWEAR TO GOD WINTER!!" He yelled snatching me back
"LET ME GO!!" I yelled with tears in my eyes
He grabbed my face and squeezed it.
"HEY!!" His dad yelled making him quickly let me go
"DON'T YOU EVER PUT YOUR HANDS ON HER AGAIN. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!"
"You okay sweetie??" Catharine asked coming up to me as I cried
I nodded.
"She's cheating on me..." Clark said
They both looked at me.
"No, Clark you cheated..." I said
"I lost the baby and while I was home grieving, he was out cheating. He didn't come home, he was never home. He gets her gifts and gets them sent to our house. He wants y'all to think he's innocent. He's been doing me dirty since I lost the baby. A whole year..."
"What!?" His mom said
"You were pregnant??"
His dad had a look of disbelief and disappointment.
"Tell them, Clark. How I was begging to have another baby, but you didn't want to. How I begged you to spend time with me. How you lied and said you were at work but weren't. How you were on the phone with her, telling her you love her. Tell them how you really feel Clark..." I said looking at him as tears fell down my face
"I said I was sorry..." he said looking at me
"You fucked ova me and I can't live like this. I don't accept your apology and I wouldn't forgive you. I'm tired of staying here pretending to wanna put up with your shit when I'm broken. I'm fucking hurting. You did this. And now you wanna flip everything on me when you fucked up. You broke our vows and my trust when I was nothing but loyal to you. You hurt me when I needed you the most..." I said looking at him
The room was silent and the tension was so thick, I couldn't breathe.
"I'm leaving..." I said
I went to grab my purse and keys. Clark grabbed me.
"LET HER GO!!" His mom yelled
He let me go, I grabbed my stuff and left out. I went to the car and pulled off. I was crying while driving. I didn't have a destination, I just needed to get away.
My phone started ringing. I don't even look at the ID.
"Hello..." I answered
"Where you headed??" I heard Kassidy's voice
"I don't know. I just need to get away..." I said between sobs
"Pull ova, here I come..." she said
I pulled ova in a plaza with a bunch of stores. Shortly after, I saw her mail truck pulling in. She parked it and came to my side of the car. She opened the door and I stepped out.
"Come here.." she said pulling me to her
I started bawling.
"It's okay..." she said before kissing my forehead as she rubbed my back
After a while, I lifted up and she wiped my eyes.
"I'm so sorry this is happening to you..." she said and I sniffed
"Go to my house. It's a security key holder on my door, the passcode is 3558. Get the key and go in. I'm going to ask Lilian can somebody else cover my shift so I can come home..."
"You don't have to do that..." I said softly
"But I'm going to. Just go calm yourself down and I'll be there shortly..." she said
"Okay..." I said softly
She leaned down and kissed me. She pulled back and pecked my lips two more before pulling away completely.
"I'll be there shortly..." she said
"Okay..." I said
I gave her a hug and then headed to her house.
