*Winter

I went into the house, stripped, and went to sleep.

I woke up and looked at my phone. I slept way longer than expected. It was almost time for Kassidy to get off work and I haven't eaten anything.

"Shit..." I said before getting up

I slipped on some sweats and a T-shirt. I went out and the house was empty. I went to the window to see that Ke nor Arya's car wasn't outside. I went to get my phone so I can have food delivered. I ordered some Chinese, I got her the orange chicken with shrimp fried rice with 2 shrimp egg rolls. I ordered that same but I changed my meat to sesame chicken instead. I paid for it and waited on it to be delivered.

After that, I saw Kassidy had called me twice again. I clicked her name to call her back.

"You never answer the phone for me no
more..." she said soon as she answered the phone

"I'm sorry, I was sleeping..." I said

"I know you ain't been sleep all day..." She said

"I didn't do it on purpose..." I said

"So that means you haven't eaten..." she said

The phone went silent.

"Winter..." she said

"I slept longer than expected. I didn't try..." I said

"Winter this the second day in a row..." she said

"I know baby. I'm sorry..." I said

It was silent.

"Kassidy..." I said

"Did you just call me baby??" She asked making me smile

"Yeah..."
"I shouldn't call you that??"

"Yeah, you can. It just surprised me..." she said

"Oh..." I said Softly

"I called to see did you want some to eat but I can see that you do..." she said

"I actually already ordered us some Chinese..." I said

"What you got me??" She asked

"Orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, and 2 shrimp egg rolls..." I said

"You remembered..." she said

"Of course I did..." I said smiling

"I'll be home in another 45 minutes..." she said

"You must be ready to get off the phone with
me??" I asked

"No, I was just telling you..." she said

"Oh okay..." I said

We continued talking. The food came and she was almost home. I sat it down until she came home.

"Heyy..." I said walking up to her with my arm open

"Hey, what??" She asked

"Hey, baby..." I said looking at her

She walked into my arms before kissing me.

"Hey Pretty Lady..." she said against my lip before kissing me again

I grabbed the food to see her stripping out her shirt and unbuckling her pants. I sat the food on the table and went back to get drinks. I went back and sat beside her.

"How was work??" I asked pulling out the food

I sat her food in front of her and sat mine in front of me.

"It was alright. Had a decent amount of packages so I interacted today. Then, Lay and Aday gave me ice cream that they made with their grandpa. It was good. Lastly, Clark and I talked..." she said making me look up at her from my food

"About what??" I asked

"I delivered a package for him. He saw my appearance and I guess he assumed I know a lot..." she said with a chuckle
"He asked me how do I know if my woman is cheating on me..."

"What did you say??" I asked

"I told him that's how he'll know..." she said

"He didn't even get it, did he??" I asked

"Not one fucking bit. He was looking confused so I told him that he may be thinking too much into it. I told him maybe he hasn't been fulfilling his woman's needs and hadn't been treating her right. So he's scaring himself by making it more than what it is..." she said

"Mmmmm..." I said biting into my egg rolls

"What??" She asked softly

"It's crazy that he'll ask you that. Like outta all people, you. The one his wife is seeing..." I said chewing
"Did he say what the gift was and who it was for??"

"I can't tell..." she said

I smacked my lips while looking at her.

"What??" She asked

"You really gone do that??" I asked

She groaned.

"Don't y'all have something coming up??" She asked

I thought about it for a while.

"Our anniversary..." I said and she nodded
"He got an anniversary gift, really??"

"He said it was. It was very big and it's something you've been talking about..." she said looking at me

"I don't want anything from him..." I said

"But it's something you've been wanting..." she said

"It doesn't matter..." I said

I sat my fork down.

"No, we not gonna let that dampen our mood. Eat..." she said looking at me

I opened my mouth to say something.

"I don't care, eat your food..." she said making me pout

She pointed to my food. I let out a dramatic sigh making her laugh.

We continued eating and talking. After we ate we sat on the couch for a while then we threw away the trash. Her ass wanted some sweets so we had to order some cookies and ice cream. We showered before it arrived. Once it arrived, she cooked the cookies. After they cooked, we ate them while we watched 2 movies before going to bed.
