I got in the car and closed the door.
"Wassup..." I said looking at her
"Nothing. I just wanted to see you..." she said
"Why??" I asked
"Honestly, I haven't been able to get you outta my mind..." she said looking at me
I nodded my head.
"Okay..." I said smiling
"I just want to get to know you better. You can get to know me better, also..." she said
"Okay, we can do that..." I said
"What do you want to know??"
"Can we discuss ova food? I'm kinda
hungry..." she said
"Yeah, sure. What do you want to eat??" I asked
"I-..." she started
"And please don't say I don't know..." I said smiling
She started laughing while looking at me.
"You know, Subway doesn't sound too bad right now..." she said
"I can do Subway..." I said looking at her
"Let's do that then..." she said and I nodded
I started my car and we headed in the direction of Subway.
"What kind of sandwich do you get from
Subway??" She asked
"I'm simple. I just eat ham on white with lettuce, pickles, mustard, honey mustard, and Mayo..." I said
"Just ham??" She asked
"Just ham..." I said
"What you get??"
"I get a cold cut as it comes..." she said
"You so gown with food..." I said and she laughed
"I'm a grown woman. What can I say..." she said
"How old are you??"
"26..." I said looking at her for a quick second
"And you??"
"34..." she said and I nodded
We didn't say anything else as we listened to music. We finally made it, I parked, and I cut the car off. I got out, went to open her door, and we headed in. I let her go in first and I walked in afterward. We stood in line and waited until our turns. We went through the line. We both got sandwiched, 2 cookies, chips, and some to drink. I paid and we left. We got back and parked.
"So let's talk..." I said looking at her
She smiled and nodded.
"Why do you find me interesting??" I asked
She bit into her sandwich and I can tell she was thinking.
She finished chewing and finally swallowed it.
"Something about you really intrigued me. You're annoying but oddly I like it. That's never happened to me before. It's different and I can't help it. That's why I was so distant these couple of days. I didn't know how to act upon what I was feeling. And I honestly want to explore those feelings with you. Not telling you to say you will cuz if you don't want to, I totally understand..." she said looking at me
"I find you intriguing too. Ever since I helped you with those boxes. It's just something about you that has you living in my head rent free. And if you going to continue occupying this mind of mine, you gone need to pay rent..." I said smiling
The looked at me for a few seconds before she caught on and started laughing. Which made me laugh.
"But I'm willing to help you explore those feelings. That's if you'll have me..." I finished
