I enjoyed Winter this whole week. I hated to see her leave. She wasn't ready to go and I wasn't either. And she wasn't excited to see Clark's parents. She was sad all day, but I made it up to her before she had to leave.
Tonight was the dinner with Lilian. I would've rather been in bed with Winter, but I can't do that tonight.
I was currently getting ready. I wasn't putting on anything special. I threw an outfit together, showered, and put it on. I haven't washed or detangled my hair so I threw a hat on. I put on a few pieces of jewelry and slipped on some shoes. I headed out the room into the front.
"Where you going??" Ke asked looking at me from ova the couch
"Dinner..." I said
"With that Li woman??" She said
"Yeah..." I said
"Don't get beat up now..." she said
"Pfft, puhlease Winter soft ass..." I said smiling
"When she got upside that lil ass head of yours don't call me..." she said
"Fuck you..." I said as we laughed "Look I'm bout to head out. Make sure you close them blinds and cut the porch light on when it gets dark..."
"Yes ma'am..." she said as she watched the tv
"I won't be long..." I said going out the door
"See ya later..." she said waving
I closed the door and twisted the knob making sure it was locked. I got in the car and headed to the restaurant. It took me about 35 minutes to get there. Once I got there, I saw Lilian pulling up also. I got out and then locked my door. I went to her car as she got out. She was cute.

"Hey, how you doing..." she said holding her arms out
"I'm good, how about you??" I asked hugging her from the Side
"Great..." "Let's go eat..." she said linking her arms with mine
We walked in and we were instantly seated. The waiter came shortly after. He took our drink orders and left us to decide what we wanted to eat.
"So, I know you took off work Monday. I was wondering was everything okay??" She asked
"Yeah, I went to see my parents..." I said
"How are they??" She asked
"My dad is great and healthy as always. But my mom, she's having a few very concerning health issues, and on top of that she has Alzheimer's..." I said
I saw sympathy running through her whole face. I didn't need to want sympathy from anyone.
"I'm sorry Kassidy..." "I didn't know..." she said softly before touching my hand that was on top of the table
