"Ma'am, what exactly happened?"the police asked and Thyra let a fearful sigh before she start talking.

"I'm in the street, and I think these cars are trying to kill me!"she said frantically. The dispatcher fix himself on the chair before answering her back.

"How do you know ma'am?"

"I just know!I know it!These drivers are planning to kill me!They want me dead!"she screamed. She's standing in front of the pedestrian letting the traffic lights past on its different colors because of her irrational fear.

"What's your name, ma'am?"

"I need the police right now!"

----

Officer Moslow facepalmed as he looked at one of his acquaintances interview the distraught woman. She looked very scared so he doesn't know if he'll file a case for her false call.

"Bizzare, right?"one of his acquaintances, Officer Turner sat beside him.

"Naayos na 'yung traffic?"he asked instead.

"Yeah, thankfully it wasn't long before we fixed it."he relaxed himself as they both sat in the front hood of one of the police cars.

"What do you think shall we do?"he asked looking at the girl.

"Sa kanya?"Officer Turner asked and when he didn't answer, he assumed it's a yes. "Well, let's just let this pass. Kapag inulit niya, pagmultahin na natin."

Its pretty weird to him that the girl's acting that way. If this was one of the prank calls they had before, they usually don't see the caller to the location they would tell.

Its hard to sift through the calls they've been receiving everyday that is why no matter how they asked the caller and try to deduce if it's a real one, they still stumble upon some falsely calls.

Officer Moslow thought that this was just one of its cases but he's baffled as to why the girl would act that way. Is she really in danger?Maybe someone in the highway really want her dead? What caused her paranoia?

He waited for his acquaintance to interview the girl. He decided to just read the notes and try assessing what might've happen.

------

And yeah, just like Officer Turner said, the police just let it pass. They thought that it was just a prank and the girl was just so good at acting.

That night, Officer Moslow drove back to his house when he noticed a familiar figure. When the lights of his car got close, she discovered that it was the girl earlier. He stopped beside her and he immediately knew the girl was panicking.

"Officer please!Let me in!"naguguluhan man, napagdesisyunan ni Officer Moslow na papasukin ang babae sa loob ng sasakyan. He forgot that he's still in his uniform that is maybe why the girl noticed her.

"What happened?"he managed to ask while he start driving again.

"I feel so unsafe. I-I feel like my life's in danger. I'm-I'm scared."and before he knew it, she's crying again.

"Where's your house ma'am?"he asked. Naguguluhan si Officer Moslow. Hindi niya alam kung parte ba ito ng scheme na ginawa niya kanina o panibago na naman. Nagpapanggap na naman ba siya o totoong nanganganib ang buhay niya.

Thyra pointed out his address. He asked Thyra few questions about what happened and how did she thought someone wants her dead. She can't give anything, like a motive or something. She can't point out a certain person. All she knew is that, someone wants her dead.

Its a blur to Officer Moslow what's with her. So he decided to take her to her home and ask some relatives what's wrong.

But when they got to her home, no one's around. It's pretty weird to see someone as paranoid as her, living alone in the house. But it didn't raise too much suspicions though since she might been suspecting people too much that she decided to live on her own.

When the girl got home, he asked one of her neighbors and surprisingly, it laughed. Thyra seldom visits her psychiatrist that's why she wasn't able to cope up. She has persecutory complex which is comparable to paranoia. Though the difference is that persecutory complex is a higher level of paranoia. That explained her manners and how often she called the police.

He thanked the woman before going back to her home. He told his acquaintances to not entertain her call that much since she's suffering from a certain complex. They said yes and that's when he decided, its a day.

Tomorrow afternoon, Thyra called the police again. But just like Officer Moslow said, they didn't entertain her that much.

And that's their biggest mistake.

Another call was made the night of the same day. It wasn't Thyra but her neighbor. The police rushed into the scene and found out Thyra laying on the pool of blood. Her left hand was holding the knife but he already knew it was a murder because of the fatal blows to her neck which made her almost decapitated.

Nanlumo si Officer Moslow sa nasaksihan. He never imagined that the call they chose to ignore, was the call that really mattered.
