Lena wakes up the following Saturday morning, and is quickly reminded of the sleeping position she is in, with Morgan snuggled close to her chest. Lena slowly opens her eyes, and then looks down at Morgan, who is still fast sleep, drooling slightly on her top. Lena can't help but grow a sad smile on her face. Lena's smile is sad simply because she feels so bad for Morgan still. Lena simply hopes that Morgan won't be so sad today, even though she won't blame her if she is.
For the next several minutes, Lena just lays there in the bed with Morgan, still cuddling her, and trying to move as little as possible because Lena does not want to wake the alien girl. During this time, Lena simply admires Morgan, and looks at the young girl, thinking about how much she has enjoyed spending time with her, and getting to know more about her rather shy personality. In fact, Lena can honestly feel her heart beating a little faster just thinking about it. It is the same feeling that Lena felt during one of the first times when she was bonding with Alura, over 18 months ago.
Eventually a few more minutes go by, and Lena decides to reach over to one of the bedside tables, and grab her phone, which Kara kindly brought in for her last night. Once Lena grabs her phone, she sees that it is already 9:30AM, which is pretty late for Lena to be sleeping in, even on a Saturday. However, Lena doesn't make any move to get up or anything, because she fully intends to stay here, lying on the bed with Morgan, until whenever the time is that the alien girl wakes up, of her own accord. So, to occupy her time, Lena decides to just go through her emails on her phone, and check the daily news and everything, all while trying to make as little movement as possible.
About 20 minutes later, Lena finally begins to feel Morgan move in her arms, which signals to the CEO that the alien girl is about to wake up. In response, Lena places her phone down on the bed next to her, before turning to look at Morgan, and watch as the young girl wakes. Over the next minute, Morgan slowly begins to wake up more and more, first with her breathing changing slightly, then the second thing being Morgan beginning to mumble a few inaudible things. Then finally, Morgan begins to move a lot more in Lena's arms, moving her head to look up at the CEO. In this moment, purple eyes meet green, and as they do, Lena is certain how easy it would be for anyone to fall in love with Morgan, just by looking into her gorgeous purple eyes.
"Morning." Lena smiles, widely, continuing to look into Morgan's eyes, which are still looking into her own.
"M... morning." Morgan replies, slightly shyly.
Lena, for her part, really can't wait until Morgan comes more out of her shell, and is less shy around them. Lena just knows that the girl that they will see after that, will be truly wonderful, not that the one before them right now is anything short of that anyway.
"Did you sleep well?" Lena asks.
"You.... you slept with me." Morgan says, not answering Lena's question.
"Yes. I did." Lena nods.
"Why?" Morgan asks, curiously, with a bit of confusion in her voice."Because.... you were upset...." Lena says, hesitating, not wanting to once more bring up the reason Morgan cried, and she then had to sleep with her, but she knows she needs to explain herself, "and I didn't want you to be alone. So, I stayed with you, and we cuddled like this all night. I hope that was okay?"
Morgan doesn't say anything for a few moments, she simply just continues to look into Lena's eyes.
"Yes." Morgan eventually says, much to Lena's relief, "I didn't have any bad dreams with you sleeping with me."
"Do you have bad dreams often?" Lena asks, with some concern in her voice.
Morgan nods her head in response.
