The next day Ram and Priya woke up a little late and started hurrying as they were getting late for work.
Meera was stuffing Ram's mouth with Aloo Parantha and Sabji while he was wearing his watch.
Priya came running and started drinking her juice.
Priya: Waah! Waah! Iss ghar mein mujhe koi puchta bhi nahi ab!
Ram rolled his eyes at her.
Ram: Tum itni jal kukdi kyun ho yaar!
Priya: Oh please! Aap toh chup hi rahiye Mr. Kapoor.
Meera: Tum dono late ho rahe ho phir bhi tum dono ko jhagra karna hi hai.
Ram and Priya narrowed their eyes at each other then again started eating.
After sometime,
Priya: Mr. Kapoor jaldiiii! I'll miss my class.
Ram: Aarreeeyyy yaar! I'm hurrying! Ek second!
Priya: Aap ka Ek Second=Ek saal hai!
Ram ignored her, took the car keys and went outside the room.
Ram: Chalo. Bye everyone.
Others: Bye.
Ram and Priya sat in the car and drove towards the office.
Both reached office and went to their respective workplaces. They both took a week leave ultimately so the workload was hectic. Both got very busy.
At lunchtime Ram called Priya.
Priya: Ram I've a class right now...can't talk.
Ram: Yaar! Lunch toh karlo!
Priya: I had a granola bar don't worry. You eat properly. Okay bye...talk to you later.
She cut the call immediately.
Ram(sadly): Ek I love you toh bol sakti thi na!
Ram arranged everything for the Puja the next day. Told Tarun to pick their necessary things from KM and told him not to say anything to Nandini and Co.
Tarun entered his cabin.
Tarun: Sir the luggage and your laptop, chargers are here in this bag.
Ram: Thank you Tarun. You are a savior. Luggage rehne do car mein. I've two meetings then we'll go there and keep the luggage. New beginnings to all of us.
Tarun(smiling): Okay sir. Thank you. And congratulations!
Ram: Thanks Tarun.
Tarun: Main aap dono ka lunch ready kar doon?
Ram: Priya is busy today. Sirf mera hi plate ready karo.
Tarun: Okay sir. But bhabhi...
Ram: She ate a granola bar....before I could say anything she cut the call.
Tarun sighed and nodded.
After lunch, Ram attended the meetings and then went to their new house with Tarun.
Ram: Tarun how's it?
Tarun: Beautiful Sir. The kitchen is really beautiful.
Ram: I knew you would like that. Achha lagega yaha rehne mein hum sab ko.
Tarun smiled gleefully at Ram.
They again went to office for the pending work.
It was 6pm when Priya called Ram.
Ram: Hey! I'm in a meeting Priya. Your classes got over?
Priya: Yeah. I'm sorry.
Ram: It's okay. Just call the driver please. For me.
Priya: Okay fine. I'm gonna go to the bakery.
Ram: Okay I'll pick you up from there.
Priya: Okay. I love you!
Ram's heart swelled in happiness.
Ram: Love you too.
Priya: Ram! You're in a meeting! Please! Okay bye!
She cut the call. Ram started smiling like a goofball.
It was 9pm when Ram finally picked Priya from the bakery. Sara went home already as Priya told her to go home and spend sometime with Ishaan.
Ram and Priya reached Meera's house. They straight went to their room as both were hell tired.
They both freshened up and sat on the bed silently hugging each other.
After sometime they were called to have dinner.
The dinner table had been lavishly done. Ram's eyes twinkled seeing the arrangements. There was Paneer Tikka, Chicken Pakoda, Mutton Biryani, Ghee Rice, Butter Garlic naan, Paneer butter masala, Chicken curry, Rasgulla, Gulab jamun, and ice cream.
Ram: Meera ma yeh sab apne banaya.
Meera: Haan. Shivi aur Ishaan ne bhi help kiya.
Ram started laughing.
Ram: Shivi aur Ishaan in the kitchen. Ek saath! Meera ma! Did you forget about the fish cake in Alibaug!
Shivi: Ram bhai! Aap meri insult mat karo!
Ishaan: Shivina I'm really sorry for that.
Shivi: It's okay Ishaan you already apologized for it more than 10 times. It's okay. But bhai this is not fair!
Ram(controlling his laugh): I'm sorry.
Ishaan: You shouldn't laugh RK! Priya masi got food poisoning for it.
Ram stopped laughing remembering what Priya went through for it.
Ram: I'm sorry.
Priya: It's okay. You all stop talking and eat.
Shivi slapped Ram's arm hard.
Ram: Ouch! Shivi!
Priya: Serves you right.
Ram rolled his eyes at her.
Priya smirked at him. Ram knew what she was thinking. He started blushing hard and averted his gaze from her and started eating.
Ram(praising Meera every minute): Meera ma dil khush ho gaya aj toh.
Meera: It's for you beta.
Priya: Claps. Naye ghar mein main bhi jaa rahi hoon. It's for you beta!
Sara(teasing): Ha par tu toh shaadi ke baad chali gayi hi. Ram yaha rahe hume yaad nahi aayegi kya.
Priya: Sarangi tumhe toh main baad mein dekhungi.
Akki: Di main aap ko bohot miss karunga like always.
Priya: Ek Akki hi hai iss ghar jisko main yaad aati hoon. Baki sab toh Team Mr. Kapoor.
Everyone laughed at that.
Shivi: Main bhi hoon Pri di aap ki team mein.
Priya(smirking): Dekha Mr. Kapoor your sister is in my team.
Ram: Ay Shivi itni badi baat bol di!
Shivi: Ha toh I'm team Priya.
Ram made a face at her, Shivi did the same.
