Third Person's P.O.V

"Where the hell are your daughter and son?! Have they come home yet?!" sigaw ni Mr. Harris kay Jane at Greg, nadatnan niyang kasalukuyang nakaharap sa telepono at naghihintay ng tawag mula sa kanilang mga anak.

Tanging kurap lang ang naging tugon ng dalawa, alam nila kung bakit bigla siyang napasugod nang ganito kaaga. Kahit sila, hindi nila alam kung nasaan ang dalawa. Apat na araw na nilang sinusubukang tawagan si Jea at Zean, pero answering machine lang ang sumasagot.

"Dad, please calm down. Your health is being affected by all this stress. You haven't slept properly for nights because of the search. They'll come home," sabi ni Greg, tumayo at inaalalayan ang ama para makaupo.

"How am I supposed to calm down? Your sinful children have been missing for four days! My men have searched almost the entire Philippines and there's still no trace of them! Scarleth hasn't even been eating because she's depressed-and you expect me to stay calm? None of this would have happened if you hadn't been so careless!"

Kumuha ng gamot mula sa bag niya ang kasama nitong personal nurse. Tumayo si Jane, pumunta sa ref para kumuha ng tubig, at iniabot ito sa tatay ni Greg.

"Dad, of course they'd hide if someone as grumpy as you is the one looking for them," Greg said jokingly. "Didn't I already tell you to just let Zean be? He's old enough... Don't force him to marry someone he doesn't want."

"Baka po may pinuntahan lang sila. Babalik din po 'yun, huwag kayong mag-alala," maagap na sabi ni Jane, pilit pinapakalma ang sitwasyon.

Ngunit sa loob-loob nila ni Greg, may pagdududa na kung ano talaga ang nangyari sa dalawa. Marahil ay tinanan ni Zean si Jea dahil sa matinding pagtutol ng lolo nito at sa planong pagpapakasal niya kay Scarleth.

Matalim ang titig ng matanda kay Jane bago padabog na inilapag ang baso ng tubig sa center table.

"They just went somewhere? Don't worry?" ulit niya na nanlilisik ang mga mata.

"Are you even using your brain, Jane? Their phones can't be reached, even their friends have no idea where they are, and you're telling me they just went somewhere?"

He stepped closer, his voice turning colder.

"What if Zean ran away with your daughter and she comes back pregnant? What kind of mother are you if you can't even control your own child?"

"Dad, that's too much!" Greg shouted at his father.

"Huwag n'yo pong pagsalitaan ng ganyan si Jea... Hindi po malandi ang anak ko," mariing depensa ni Jane. Ngunit matalim na titig lamang ang isinagot ng matanda sa kanya.

"Trust me, Greg, you're both not going to like what I'll do if they don't go home," mariing babala ni Mr. Harris habang itinuturo ang dalawa at pinandidilatan sila ng mata. "I'm giving you two options now: send them home and your marriage will be saved... or I'll destroy something you won't like - especially you, Jane."

Scarleth's POV

"What happened?! Scarleth?!" Mommy rushed toward me. She knelt down and tried to help me sit up properly. Why is she here?

I could barely open my eyes. They were swollen from crying, and my body felt weak. I've been locked inside my room for three days without eating. I don't have the appetite for anything. How can I eat when I know Jea and Zean are together? I'm going crazy thinking about where they went... what they're doing.

Does he love that woman so much that he chose to leave with her? Bullshit. I'm wasted. Zean, where the hell are you? I want you to see me like this. I'm so depressed.
