Katsuki's eyes snapped open, it was dark. For a moment, he thought he was back in the lab.
Until he couldn't breathe. He was in water; fully enveloped. Where was he? Had he escaped?
「 The USB drive was still in his mouth, a gun firmly tangled in his grasp. It was rather obvious that he'd escaped, submerged in the water he'd been shot into. 」
He had to get to his home, he had to return to his parents. The only problem was that he didn't know which way to go.
To find out, he'd have to get to the surface. From there, he would find his way back home.
The problem? He was drowning. His pain tolerance rendered him able to move through the feeling, but he was going to die. Again.
The pipe, he should locate the pipe. Katsuki's eyes burned in the salty ocean water. He could feel his body shutting down.
His eyes opened and the burning restarted, he must've died again. What a pain. There had to be a way to do this.
Regardless of his current loop of dying, Katsuki scoured the area for his pipe. He knew for damn sure that his gun wasn't going to function after an extended salt water bath.
He wasn't far from the surface, he could probably make it if he started swimming straight after reviving.
The pipe ended up being not far from him, though he was lucky to have picked that direction in the first place.
Now to return to the surface.

Katsuki didn't know how he managed to do it, but he made it to his house undetected. He really hoped his parents were home. Both of their cars were there, so there was minimal chance that they weren't.
He made his way up to the front door, shivering in his wet clothing. It was mostly dry by now, but it was cold and damp in this cool autumn weather.
It took him a few minutes to compose himself enough to knock on the door. What if they'd already moved on; accepted that he was gone?
When he did knock, it took an eternity for them to open the door. He was so anxious, ready to burst into tears. He missed his parents. Really bad, he'd kill to have them by his side.
「He already had. He wasn't afraid to add to the list」
He stood pathetically as the door opened, unable to form many words, his throat was closed up, his emotions making him croak out the only thing he could think of saying. "Hi dad"
The man looked exhausted, but Katsuki had never seen someone's eyes go as wide as the man's did.
"Katsuki!" The man breathed. "You're..." His father seemed to be in shock. Katsuki reached out and hugged his father, the tears he had barely contained now rolling freely down his cheeks.
"Masaru who's at the— Katsuki...?"
"I'm– I'm home"
He was covered in the flimsy, bloodstained gown and he was covered in deep scars that he'd gotten before this healing factor kicked in, but he was himself. He was Katsuki Bakugou still.
His mother wasn't a crier, she always had her emotions in check. Not many things made her break down, but the second he spoke, she let out a harsh sob, eyes pricking with glossy tears.
"Oh" She breathed out. "Oh Katsuki, oh my baby"
She joined the hug, crying her eyes out, just like he was. His father hadn't cried yet, simply burying himself in Katsuki without a single word, holding him so tight that Katsuki thought he'd break a rib.
"I'm home" He found himself repeating.
