Katsuki stood at Yuuei's gate with Eri by his side, feeling a strange mix of nostalgia and apprehension. Aizawa approached them, his stern expression softened slightly as he saw Eri.

"Deadpool" Aizawa greeted, his eyes briefly flicking to Eri. "This is the girl Nezu mentioned?"

Katsuki nodded. "Yeah. We're just here for Recovery Girl"

The man crouched down to Eri's level, his gaze gentle. "Hello, I'm Aizawa. We're going to make sure you're taken care of, okay?"

Eri clung to Katsuki's hand, her eyes showcasing her nervousness. She nodded slowly.

Aizawa straightened and eyed Katsuki. "Come, let's get her to the clinic"

As they walked through the familiar halls of Yuuei, Katsuki felt a pang of bittersweet memories. Students whispered and stared, but he ignored them, focusing on the small hand in his.

When they reached Recovery Girl's office, Aizawa knocked and ushered them inside. The elderly heroine looked up from her desk, her eyes narrowing when she saw him.

"...Deadpool" Recovery Girl said before gesturing for Eri to sit.

Eri hesitated, glancing at Katsuki for reassurance. He gave her a nod, and she reluctantly let go of his hand to sit on the examination table.

Recovery Girl began her examination, her gentle demeanor putting Eri at ease. Katsuki stood back with Aizawa, watching the scene with a mixture of relief and tension.

"Where'd you get her?" Aizawa asked quietly.

Katsuki frowned, following the man's obvious thoughts. "Not that it's any of your fuckin' business, but the Shie Hassaikai had 'er"

Aizawa's gaze was firm. "We can take care of her. Your ...influence isn't something a young girl needs"

As Recovery Girl finished her examination and turned to them before Katsuki could respond. "She's malnourished and had some injuries, but I healed those. She'll need some time to get back to a proper weight, but she should be okay physically"

Katsuki nodded. "Thank you"

Recovery Girl smiled warmly. "It's what we're here for. She'll be in good hands"

Eri looked over at Katsuki, her eyes filling with tears. "You're... You said you'd take me"

Katsuki's heart ached at the vulnerability in her voice. He stepped closer and crouched down to her level. "I'm taking you back"

She gave a small nod, clutching a lollipop Recovery Girl had handed her. Katsuki looked over to Recovery Girl, narrowing his eyes.

"You heroes didn't rescue her, I did"

Her jaw clenched as her eyes darted between him and his old teacher. "I see"

As neutral as ever. He scoffed, picking up Eri and leaving the room. Aizawa quickly caught up, but Katsuki led the way to Nezu's office. The hero seemed to be in turmoil.

「Deadpool, the notorious mercenary-vigilante, knew the layout of Yuuei and that wasn't something that could be taken lightly.」

He didn't bother knocking when he got to the principal's office. Bad decision. One of the top ten worst decisions he'd made, and that meant something.

Izuku Midoriya jumped up when he walked in. Both froze when they locked eyes. Midoriya because it was Deadpool and Katsuki because it was his childhood friend.

His gaze moved to Nezu, who looked too smug to not have planned this.

Nezu's voice broke the silence. "Ah, Deadpool. I see you've brought Eri. Please, have a seat"

Izuku's eyes widened as he took in the scene, whispering a breathless. "Deadpool..."

Katsuki ignored him, focusing on Nezu. "I see you're not gonna let me do shit my way"

Nezu smirked. "Of course not. There's more to discuss"

Eri's grip on him tightened and he pulled out a spring loaded knife. It wasn't visibly a knife at first glance. She took it with a small smile. He'd told her how to use it before they left that morning. Teskai's face had been priceless. "Like what?"

Nezu's eyes gleamed with curiosity at his actions. "Like your involvement with the League of Villains and how we are going to work together moving forward"

Katsuki's eyes narrowed. "I'm not interested in playing hero games"

Nezu continued to smile. "This isn't about games. It's about ensuring the safety of everyone, including Eri. Your skills and knowledge are invaluable"

Katsuki glanced at Izuku, who was still processing the situation. The tension in the room was palpable, but he knew Nezu was right.

"Fine" Katsuki finally agreed, his voice low. "But I do things my way"

Nezu nodded, his expression serious. "Agreed, I'll add you to the ally list. Welcome back to Yuuei, Deadpool"

Katsuki looked down at Eri, her small face pressed against his chest as she toyed with the knife.

"Back?" Izuku murmured from his seat. He tensed. Eri took his movement in with alarm. She was very sensitive to body language, it seemed. She clicked the knife, springing the blade out for the room's occupants to see.

Izuku jumped back with wide eyes.

Nezu only chuckled. "I see she's already learning from you"

"Self defense is something everyone should learn" He didn't bother mentioning that he hadn't really taught her anything; that she naturally picked things up. She was clever.
