As it turned out, the heroes following him were easy to shake. Most were gone by the time he had gotten to the train station.
He couldn't lead them to Teskai's district, obviously.
So he kept going. He didn't have trouble running for so long as his lungs would simply heal as soon as they got overwhelmed. He'd tested that many times, and even managed to increase his resistance to drowning.
Soon, only one set of footsteps behind him remained behind him, showing no sign of stopping. There was only one hero that could keep up with him without obvious quirk noise
Aiza- Eraserhead.
Katsuki slowed once he was far enough into one of the bad districts. No one would step in and break up the fight here. Not without a death wish. Criminals knew his stance and who he was.
Deadpool wasn't to be trifled with.
"I don't have the time for your heroics right now, Eraserhead"
The hero stepped closer, pausing when Katsuki rested a hand over his holstered gun. "You knew the rules and you're not getting away without answers"
"I've got shit to do"
"We need to know what you're up to"
"You have no right. I'm not here to fight right now but..." He steadied his gaze. "I've got shit to do.
"I can't allow you to escape"
Katsuki's voice dropped in the way it always did when he readied for a fight. "You don't wanna trust me on this one?"
"Trust is earned, not given" Eraserhead said with narrowed eyes.
"I see" Was all he said before he struck, moving to toss a knife towards the hero. Katsuki respected the man, so he wouldn't do any permanent damage.
The hero blocked the knife, moving to deflect it down they alleyway. The hero threw a fist at him and Katsuki grinned. He weakly blocked the punch, his smile widening as the hero through a second jab.
This time, Katsuki slapped it away. He ducked as Eraserhead sent a left hook. When he stood, the hero tried again.
The one sided fight continued for a few more minutes before Katsuki finally remembered that Eri was waiting and decided to end it.
He grabbed Eraserhead's arm and twisted it, punching the hero in the face. The hero blocked the next punch and tried to counteract. Katsuki simply ducked, weaving back up to punch the hero in the stomach.
The wheeze the hero tried to hide made his heart race. God, he loved fighting. There was an unexplainable rush that always sent him into euphoria.
Jumping out of direct range of Eraserhead's next dust, he crouched, diving for the hero's leg. He hung onto the hero's thigh, tackling him and bringing both of them to the ground.
Eraserhead curled up and punched Katsuki in the face. Ah, close combat really was the best.
He returned the action, enjoying the feeling of flesh beneath his gloved fist.
The hero then rolled, taking him in the process. Eraserhead stood faster, but Katsuki was shorter. He used this time his advantage, keeping low as he steadied himself for his finishing move.
He spun beautifully, roundhouse kicking the hero in the head. Eraserhead crumpled to the ground and Katsuki wasted no time in escaping.
Scooping the knife that'd been left on the street, he ran, grabbing into the nearest fire escape to climb to the roof.
Katsuki's heart pounded in his chest as he darted across the rooftops, leaping from one building to another with practiced ease. The night air was cold, whipping past him as he scaled the heights, each step a desperate attempt to stay ahead of any pursuers.
The flashing lights of police vehicles below illuminated his path, casting brightly coloured shadows against the buildings. Katsuki glanced down at them before he turned back to continue. He had to make it to Teskai's apartment. Eri was waiting.
He skidded to a halt on the edge of a rooftop, surveying the cityscape. Teskai's building was just below.
Katsuki slid down a fire escape, landing quietly in the alley below. The building loomed ahead. Katsuki moved quietly, slipping into the open hallways.
Once he reached Teskai's door, he sighed. He leant up against the door for a moment, trying to regain his composure. The area was dimly lit, and the silence was a stark contrast to the chaos he'd just left behind.
Katsuki knocked on the door. There was no response at first, and he became nervous. He knocked again, more forcefully this time. The door opened to show his exhausted informant.
"Teskai" He said simply. "I'm back"
