Under the cloak of the darkened alleyways, Katsuki approached the secluded compound, his movements swift and calculated. He kept to the shadows, his senses heightened as he scanned the perimeter for any signs of surveillance or guards. With silent movements, he slipped past the security measures and made his way inside.

The interior of the compound was eerily quiet, the only sound the soft hum of machinery in the distance. Katsuki moved cautiously through the corridors, his eyes darting from shadow to shadow as he searched for any indication of Department K's presence.

As he rounded a corner, he came face to face with a pair of armed guards, their weapons trained on him with deadly accuracy. Without hesitation, Katsuki sprang into action, his movements fluid and precise as he disarmed his assailants with lightning speed.

Oh well, Teskai would have to find another place for him to survey. They hadn't put enough time into this one, Katsuki had rushed it.

He pulled out his handgun and shot twice, the guards both falling to the ground, dead before they even touched it.

He couldn't help it, though. The thrill of finding something this big was intoxicating.」

The sound of the gunshots echoed through the halls, alerting any other guards in the vicinity. Katsuki knew he had to move quickly. With a burst of speed, he sprinted down the corridor, ducking and weaving past security cameras and checkpoints.

Those that he knew of, of course.

Finally, he reached the heart of the compound, where he found rows of medical tables, innocent victims of Department K's experiments strapped down to them. Anger surged through Katsuki as he beheld the suffering before him, his fists clenched in fury.

He would free them from their agony.

Katsuki ran around the place, dropping canisters of gas as he went. The building was quickly becoming engulfed in the accelerant.

With a keen eye, Katsuki spotted a figure clad in what seemed like important attire, likely a high-ranking member of Department K. Moving swiftly and silently, he closed the distance between them, his steps muffled by the chaos erupting around them.

In one fluid motion, Katsuki subdued the individual, delivering a precise blow that rendered them unconscious. With the target now incapacitated, he hoisted them over his shoulder, the weight of their unconscious form barely registering as he darted through the corridors, his senses on high alert for any sign of danger.

As Katsuki moved deeper into the compound, he came across a secure room filled with rows of computer terminals and servers. The soft glow of screens illuminated the dimly lit space, casting eerie shadows on the walls.

Perfect.

With a sense of urgency, Katsuki approached the nearest terminal, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he bypassed the security measures with practiced movements.

Teskai had taught him a bit. Just enough to get past the first few barriers. The USB would take everything once he got access to the computer.

The screen flickered to life, revealing a treasure trove of classified information: data files, surveillance footage, financial records, all meticulously organized and encrypted.

Time was of the essence, and Katsuki wasted no time in downloading the vital information. Each passing second felt like an eternity as he worked to extract the data, his heart racing with the knowledge that every moment brought him closer to discovery.

As he worked, Katsuki's senses remained on high alert, his ears tuned to the faintest sound of approaching footsteps or the telltale click of a weapon being cocked. But the room remained eerily silent, save for the soft hum of the servers and the pounding of his own heartbeat.

Finally, with the last file successfully downloaded, Katsuki disconnected the storage device and stowed it away safely. The room held no further secrets for him, and he knew it was time to make his escape before he overstayed his welcome.

With one last glance at the rows of computers, Katsuki slipped out of the room.

As he made his way out of the building, Katsuki set his captive down at a safe distance from the building. He spared a brief glance at the unconscious figure before him, a grim reminder of the darkness that lurked within Department K.

With a determined scowl, Katsuki ignited a small device, hurling it back towards the compound with deadly accuracy. The flames spread quickly, consuming everything in their path as Katsuki watched from a safe distance, the satisfaction of vengeance burning bright in his eyes.

As the flames engulfed the compound, Katsuki felt a sense of closure wash over him. The fire would reach the gas in three... Two...

BOOM!

The building exploded, a plume of smoke being blasted into the air as chunks of the crumbling structure flew.

Katsuki missed his quirk, but it wasn't anything that he couldn't recreate. All it took was a little chemistry.

With a final glance at the burning wreckage, Katsuki turned away, picking the unconscious man back up.

He was exhausted but he'd freed those people, he'd saved those experiment's souls from damnation.

That was justice.

(Ao3 is two chapters ahead. Unlike wattpad, they don't have scheduled chapters, I have to manually post. That also means I can post extra chapters there without messing up whatever scheduling I've painstakingly done here.

This includes posting an extra chapter when wattpad does mean stuff and/or if something really good happens.)
