The principal of Yuuei wasn't stupid; he probably wanted to make use of the Commission's nearby resources, just in case anything went sideways.
The thought made Katsuki's lip curl beneath his mask. As if any of them could actually stop him if it came down to a fight.
Regardless, he made his way to the designated building, already hating every second he had to be there.
Approaching the side entrance, Katsuki swiped the keycard Nezu had gave him. The door clicked open, and he slipped inside without a word. The building was quieter than he expected, only a few heroes lingering in the halls. They eyed him cautiously, but no one moved to stop him.
They knew better.
Knowing Nezu, the chimera had probably made it known that he'd partnered up for the current time. Though... The principal also may have just kept quiet to make his life harder.
Nothing new.
He made his way to one of the empty debrief rooms Nezu had specified. The lights beamed overhead, casting a dim glow over the otherwise sterile environment. Katsuki tossed Cipher into one of the chairs, letting the hero's head loll to the side. Blood began to sluggishly stain the seat. He dropped himself into another.
Katsuki reached over and grabbed the tissue box from the table, kicking his very bloody boots up into the table once it was in his hands.
He leant forward enough to retrieve his twin swords, moving to wipe them down. He dropped the dirty tissues onto the floor, imagining how the little heroes would squirm while cleaning up after him with no small joy.
A moment later, the door creaked open, and Nezu stepped inside, flanked by two Hero Commission representatives. The principal's sharp eyes gleamed as he took in the scene.
"Deadpool" Nezu said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "I see you've completed the mission"
Katsuki leaned back, continuing to clean his blades. "Here's your hero" He gestured toward Cipher, who was still unconscious. "Alive, as promised"
One of the Commission's little pets looked over Cipher, frowning deeply, but Nezu waved them off.
"Well done" Nezu said smoothly, his voice calm and collected as always. "You've proven your capability once again. I take it there were no complications?"
Katsuki smirked behind his mask. "None"
Nezu nodded, his expression unreadable. "Excellent. Now, about our arrangement..."
Katsuki's gaze turned to the heroes that stood near Nezu. "Is a private conversation" His voice was low. "You heroes are not welcome"
The principal tilted his head slightly towards said heroes. "Go ahead"
Katsuki's jaw clenched, his distrust of the Commission and overall hero society always lingering beneath the surface. Nezu was good with words, too good, and Katsuki had no doubt the principal had his own agenda in play.
But as long as the were one on one, it'd be easier to manage the chimera's games. He watched as the heroes hoisted up Cipher before leaving the room.
"I want the courses" Katsuki then stated.
"Of course" Nezu replied smoothly, nodding in agreement. "But there's one more matter to discuss"
Katsuki narrowed his eyes. "What now?"
Nezu's smile didn't falter. "You'll have full access to Yuuei's general studies curriculum, as we agreed. However, I believe there may be... further opportunities for cooperation. Should you be interested"
Katsuki scoffed, tossing another bloody tissue to the floor. "I'm not one of your fuckin' heroes. You don't give me orders. I do what I want, when I want. Next time you want something, I'm charging my regular rates"
Nezu's eyes narrowed momentarily before the usual poker face returned. "...Of course"
Katsuki didn't respond further, simply getting up from his seat and sliding the blades back into their sheaths. He had no interest in playing hero or sticking around the Commission's ivory tower.
He had what he came for. Eri's future education was secured, his debt was repaid, and Cipher's rescue was handled. That was enough.
"I'll await your next message" Nezu called after him. He ignored it.
He wasn't their little pet.
