When his father entered the room, the man hadn't even paused, simply grabbing a pair of pyjamas and going to the bathroom to change.

When the man returned, he guided Katsuki further up onto the bed, nestling him in between the two of them.

With his mother on one side and his father on the other, he felt a comfort he hadn't been able to in a long time.

His mother continued to stroke his hair with tender fingers, her touch soothing and familiar. "You're our son, Katsuki" she murmured softly, her voice carrying the weight of years of unwavering support. "A brave Bakugou"

His father pulled the blankets up, humming a tune that Katsuki could faintly remember from his childhood.

Katsuki felt a lump form in his throat, overwhelmed by the love from his parents. In that quiet moment, surrounded by their unconditional support, he understood just how lucky he was to have them.

They didn't need words to communicate; their everlasting presence spoke volumes. It was a moment of pure connection, where worries faded into the background and the strength of family bonds shone brightly.

Wrapped in the warmth of their embrace, Katsuki closed his eyes, letting himself be carried away by the simple yet profound comfort of being home, with the people who loved him most.

Darkness enveloped Katsuki as he stood alone in an empty warehouse, the air thick with an ominous silence. Shadows flickered at the edges of his vision, twisting and contorting into grotesque shapes that seemed to whisper his name in eerie echoes.

A distant rumble reverberated through the ground, sending tremors up his legs. He looked around frantically, but there was nothing to see except an endless expanse of emptiness. Anxiety gripped his chest like a vise as he realized he was completely isolated, cut off from any semblance of safety.

Suddenly, the roof above him erupted in a burst of fiery explosions, illuminating the building in a hellish glow. Figures darted in and out of the shadows, people clad in blood-splattered lab coats. They fought with ferocity against unseen others, their cries of pain and victory blending into a haunting scene.

Katsuki tried to move, to aid in the battle, but his feet felt rooted to the ground. Panic surged through him as he realized he was powerless, a mere spectator to the unfolding carnage. His hands trembled as he reached for a weapon that wasn't there, his mind racing with a desperate need to act, to make a difference.

A sudden rush of smoke whipped through the building, carrying with it a chilling whisper. "You failed us"

Katsuki's breath hitched as he recognized the faces of his closest allies and family, their eyes filled with betrayal and reproach. They circled him, riddled with bullet holes and deep knife wounds.

At the other end of the building, a towering figure emerged from the smoke, a monstrous silhouette that radiated malevolence. Laughter echoed in the air, a cruel mockery of Katsuki's struggles and fears. Francis Freeman. "You cannot save them, you're powerless" The antagonist's voice taunted, each word dripping with venomous certainty.

Desperation clawed at Katsuki's throat as he stumbled backward, the ground crumbling beneath his feet. He tried to scream, to defy the nightmare that threatened to suffocate him, but his voice failed him. Shadows closed in from all sides, swallowing him whole as the world around him dissolved into darkness.

With a gasp, Katsuki shot upright in bed, drenched in cold sweat. His heart thundered against his ribcage, the remnants of the nightmare still clinging to his senses like a lingering fog.

As he struggled to steady his breathing, the weight of impending battle pressed down upon him like a crushing burden, leaving him haunted by the chilling visions of what could come to pass.

He was scared.
