Desiree

The objects of my desires and dreams come to me with jealousy.

The morning began with a brunch at the Lunár Galleria that smelled of salt-kissed breezes and blooming sea lilies. The event, aptly titled The Oceanic Opulence, was an aromatic feast with cosmetics by Lady Renaissance's newly released Pearlescent Line and luxury perfumes inspired by oceanic florals wafting through the air. My friends and I exchanged cheerful laughter as we sipped on lavender-infused teas.

"The arrangements are divine!" Exclaimed Thelka, her eyes sparkling as she gestured toward the cascading blue orchids adorning the tables. Her second day out and she was already the center of much of the attention; though uncomfortable at times, she continued to keep her head high, eventually the whispers died down and many focused on the events of the remaining days of the fashion week.

"It's Green Scents Perfumery," Zibiah remarked knowingly. "They always outdo themselves. I swear I've bathed my home in their latest collection."

The runways later that day transported us to the heart of the sea. Lagoon opened their show with a mesmerizing display of water-inspired garments. The models moved across a runway that appeared to ripple and flow beneath their feet. Chandrelle Da Plarinu, I thought to myself, you must own one of those gowns.

"Illume's Abyssal!" Thelka gasped as shimmering, ethereal dresses floated down the runway like reflections on a moonlit tide.

"It's almost as if they bottled starlight and poured it into the fabric," Zorion whispered as he leaned closer, his gaze locked on the glimmering spectacle

"It's almost as if they bottled starlight and poured it into the fabric," Zorion whispered as he leaned closer, his gaze locked on the glimmering spectacle. My heart skipped a beat as I felt the warmth of his presence.

Though not keen on fashion himself, he did tag along to some of the shows at my request, wanting to learn a bit more about what I poured my heart and soul into. It was pleasing to watch his flustered face as many commented on the different fabrics and embellishments used, something he had no expertise in.

That evening, the Tides of Midnight party at the Sapphire Pavilion swept us into an underwater dreamscape. Enchanted illusionary projections of glowing jellyfish and flowing currents danced across the ceiling as we sipped Seafarer's Serenade and Brine Blossom cocktails.
