From Recording Twilight To Stargazing

November 8th

Everyone woke up to Patrick coughing at 1:00 in the morning. They already knew that there was an alarm set for two more hours from now because the last total lunar eclipse until 2025 was going to be this morning. But everyone took advantage of waking up 2 hours early to plan breakfast. Gargamel saw Orion on his window, and he yelled his joke. Mother nature then threatened to make it cloudy for the eclipse, but then she saw Patrick start to cry, because she forgot that this was the last total lunar eclipse until 2025. "Naturally, I'm so sorry! Please forgive me! And if global cooling makes it cloudy, I promise to bug Father Time until he makes each year pass so fast that it feels like one second! That way we can get to the next one ASAP! Naturally, we probably won't have to go to that route though, because I naturally have already arranged Gargamel to use a clear sky tonic for this! His tonic might not be very strong though, because there is a thin layer of cloud, but at least we can still see the moon naturally!"Mother Nature said that she went to go down and make some delicious quesadillas for breakfast. Soon, the eclipse came. At 3:02 a.m., the Earth's penumbral shadows started touching the moon.

Because the clouds were thin, they could still see the moon, and take amazing pictures of it in the telescope. The clouds kind of made some kind of filter over the moon without them having a filter over the telescope to allow them to take an amazing picture of the moon. The humidity also had a small factor in this. Eventually, the partial phase of the lunar eclipse started as the umbra started to reach the moon.

The umbra continue to engulf the moon, and everyone got excited.

Before long, totality was minutes away!

By 5:15 a.m. the full moon had transformed into a shell of itself, only a small little sliver with the rest in darkness from the telescope view, and to the naked eye, the Moon was red with the exception of the little silver sliver left.

Then, everyone saw a grayish pink moon in the telescope, but to the naked eye, the moon was red.

The camera on the telescope also picked up a red moon, so the sleepover people wondered why it appeared grayish pink to the eye in the telescope. Gargamel then started with his jokes. "The earth needs to go to jail, because it just murdered the moon! The Moon is bleeding everywhere! I can also see Orion through the thin clouds, and he looks like a man sitting on the toilet! There also is the star Sirius! Are you Siriusly Sirius?!" He exclaimed. "Naturally, that's it! Enough! If all of these happen frequently until the next lunar eclipse, you will be forced to stay inside during it as punishment! Not to mention that you'll be doing chores in the middle of the night! I'll have a whole set of chores for you to do at night! You'll be cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the floor, cleaning all of it! And you'll be changing the cat litter if it needs changed at the time, you'll be giving them food, you'll be doing everything! While we'll be enjoying the next total lunar eclipse in 2025! Oh, and if you think I forgot about the solar eclipse in 2024, the same things apply to that, because I won't make it cloudy for that either, because I don't want to miss that at all, and if Globie messes up with it and she makes it cloudy that day, I'll be so mad, that I'll be sending storms after people I don't even know! And I'll probably be mad for months"Mother Nature said.

Eventually Dawn arrived, and Patrick had to go to school. But his cough got worse while he was at school. Eventually, he had to stay home from school for 3 days, and now this school year he has already missed nine days of school and it hasn't been 3 months into the school year yet even. Everyone is concerned, because he has been sick off and on for the past 6 weeks.
