Haein sat in the chair beside Jisoo's hospital bed, his gaze fixed on her peaceful face as she slept. An expression of deep frustration marred his features. It gnawed at him that Daniel had exploited Jisoo's vulnerability, leaving her to grapple with the emotional fallout. Now, he grasped the reasons behind her recent behavior.

A soft sigh escaped his lips as he closed his eyes, lost in thought about the uncertain future ahead, especially with the possibility that he might not be the father. A sense of defeat washed over him, but it was quickly overshadowed by a seething anger directed at Daniel for violating Jisoo's trust. The very idea made it impossible for him to find any semblance of rest.

"I just want her back! What do I need to do to make that happen? Damn it! Lord, the baby has to be mine... Please! I know I haven't been entirely truthful with her, but don't put me through another heartbreak! Everything I do is for love! All my desires revolve around her! Don't let me lose her and the baby! If the baby isn't mine, I'm certain Daniel will do whatever it takes to steal her from me!" Haein's thoughts spiraled in anguish.

As the night slipped away, dawn broke steadily. By around eight in the morning, Jisoo stirred awake, yawning widely as she stretched her arms. Blinking in confusion, she slowly propped herself up in bed. Just then, she spotted Haein entering the room, a large tray of food balanced in his hands. A wide smile spread across her face at the sight of the meal, her eyes lighting up with excitement as her hunger took hold.

"Well, good morning! You look like a radiant little sunshine!" Haein exclaimed, setting the tray carefully over her lap. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Good morning... ahhh... you're a dream! Thank you, thank you!!! I'm starving!" Jisoo replied, her eyes sparkling as she eagerly began to dig into the food. Haein couldn't help but chuckle at her enthusiasm as he moved to sit in the chair beside her. Just then, the door to Jisoo's room swung open, revealing Andrew standing in the doorway.

"Sir... I think you should step outside for a moment!" Andrew said, raising his eyebrows suggestively. Haein's heart sank as he immediately realized it had to do with Daniel. His fists clenched at his sides as he strode purposefully toward the door.

"Haein! Don't go!" Jisoo called out, her voice laced with concern as she saw him about to leave. He paused and turned back to her.

"Love, please... I need to deal with something outside. Just stay here with Andrew while I sort this out, okay?" he replied, urgency in his voice before he quickly exited the room. Jisoo was left feeling a mix of confusion and disappointment, watching him go and wishing he hadn't left her alone.

Daniel was deep in conversation with Jisoo's nurse in the middle of the hallway, with Suzy standing beside him, clutching a stack of documents. The moment Haein spotted Daniel, a wave of fury washed over him, making him feel as if he were being consumed by darkness. His expression twisted into a fierce scowl.

Suzy caught sight of Haein approaching with alarming speed and immediately frowned at the rage evident in his eyes. Panic surged through her as she called out to Daniel to turn around, but it was too late. In an instant, both the nurse and Daniel were taken aback by Haein's sudden movement. Without a moment's hesitation, Haein seized Daniel by the collar and landed a solid punch directly on his face. The loud crack of impact echoed through the hall, causing both the nurse and Suzy to scream in shock as Daniel crumpled to the floor like a heavy bag.

"YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF TRASH! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A COWARD!" Haein roared, his voice echoing through the hallway.

"YOU'RE NOT EVEN A MAN!"

"HOW DARE YOU LAY A HAND ON HER!"

"HOW DARE YOU DISREGARD HER WILL!"

"YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" Haein shouted, looming over Daniel as he shook him violently on the ground. Daniel was frozen in shock, the impact of the punch leaving him momentarily dazed and unable to respond. Haein's rage consumed him, fueled by the injustice of it all, as he glared down at the man who had hurt the woman he loved.
