Haein couldn't shake the feeling of utter foolishness for placing his trust in someone he had no faith in from the start. Yet, his overwhelming desire to uncover the truth about her and find out where she was staying drove him to act recklessly. He stood face-to-face with Heungmin, both of them exchanging looks filled with disdain.

"Listen... I'm sorry! I... I just can't pretend to like you because I really don't... In fact, I loathe you, Son Heungmin, for everything you've done to her!" Haein shouted at him. Heungmin simply chuckled softly, shaking his head at Haein's outburst.

"I couldn't care less if you dislike me, Haein, because the feeling is mutual! You stole her from me!" Heungmin shot back, his voice laced with anger.

"You claim to hate me for what I did to her, but I bet you don't even know the full story of how she ended up with me. Do you really think I forced her to be with me?" Heungmin pressed, his tone serious.

Haein's confidence began to waver as doubt crept in. He realized he had been operating on incomplete information about Jisoo. She had never shared much about her relationship with Heungmin or the reasons behind her working for him in the first place. All he knew about her past came from snippets shared by Hyuna, leaving him feeling more uncertain than ever.

"All I know is that you were coercing her into working for you! Making her do things she didn't want to do!" Haein shot back defiantly. Heungmin simply smiled, stepping closer as if to challenge him.

"Coercing her? I wasn't coercing her when she had to repay me in some way!" Heungmin replied, his tone dripping with confidence. Haein's expression darkened, his body tense with frustration.

"Repay you? For what, exactly?" Haein demanded, his voice firm. Heungmin continued to gaze at him with piercing eyes, a smirk playing on his lips.

"She had to repay me for taking care of her... for giving her a place to stay, food, and money when she had nothing! At just sixteen, Jisoo was all alone! I found her sleeping on the streets, homeless and starving! I rescued her from that life... I provided her with comfort and support when her damn family turned their backs on her! And you know what? Jisoo wanted to show her gratitude, so she offered herself to me!" Heungmin said, a slight smile forming on his lips.

Haein's anger boiled over, and he seized Heungmin's collar, his grip tight as he glared at him.

"You bastard... you're lying!" he spat, his eyes blazing with fury. Heungmin's smile only widened in response.

"Oh Haein... you really have no idea who she is, do you? She was mine back then... and I had her every night," Heungmin said with a grin, feeling Haein's grip tighten around his collar even more. Haein's eyes widened, a furious crimson igniting as rage coursed through him.

"I don't believe you...! She would never offer herself to you!" Haein shouted, refusing to let go.

"Jisoo... Jisoo was being mistreated instead... she would never do that!" Haein insisted, his voice trembling with anger.

In an instant, Heungmin seized Haein's hands, forcefully pushing him away.

"You fool! I only started treating her poorly when I noticed the hickeys on her body—marks I never put there! She lied to me about being with another man, and that man was you! Did you even think to ask her if she had a boyfriend before you jumped into bed with her? She was cheating on me with you, and guess what? That's exactly what she's doing to you now! Looks like karma has caught up with you!" Heungmin yelled, struggling to free himself from Haein's grip.

Haein could hardly process what Heungmin was saying; disbelief washed over him, and he scoffed in frustration at the madness of it all.

"You really think I'll fall for this? You're just trying to sell me a cheap, twisted version of her! It's all lies!" Haein shot back, his voice seething with anger. "I never thought you could sink any lower than what I already thought of you, but damn, I was wrong. What a pest you are!" With that, he snatched his coat from the couch and stormed out of the bar.
