As the hours ticked by, Haein remained steadfast in his vigil for any glimpse of Jisoo. Tracking her all the way to the shadowy alleys of Itaewon, he attempted to gain entry to the club, only to be rebuffed by the imposing bouncer who informed him that it was an exclusive venue for VIPs. Frustrated by the seemingly impenetrable barrier between him and Jisoo, Haein refused to give up. With determination burning in his eyes, he devised a plan to sway the bouncer's allegiance by offering a generous sum of money in exchange for access to the elusive club.
Despite the exorbitant price of the ticket, Haein managed to secure entry with a hefty bribe to the bouncer. Stepping into the club, he was astounded by the sheer number of people crammed inside, all seemingly unfazed by the steep entrance fee. The extravagant attire of the patrons, with every man clad in sleek tuxedos, struck Haein as peculiar. It was evident that the crowd was a mix of affluent businessmen and wealthy individuals, a sight that was both intriguing and unsettling to him.
Haein whispered under his breath, "What kind of place is this?" He continued to move through the crowd, his eyes widening at the sight of numerous scantily-clad women dancing on tables, serving the men and engaging in intimate acts with them. A wave of frustration washed over Haein as he pondered the possibility of Jisoo being lured into this environment. The thought of her potentially selling herself to these men ignited a blazing fury within him, feeling as though he was being consumed by an infernal rage. Frantically scanning the room, he searched for any woman with long black hair, desperately hoping to catch a glimpse of Jisoo amidst the chaos.
Suddenly, Haein's eyes locked onto a figure lounging nonchalantly on a plush couch, wrapped in the embrace of a young woman. Shock washed over Haein as he recognized the person in question, surprised to see them in such a questionable establishment.
The realization hit Haein like a ton of bricks, "He's fucking married to my mother in law!" he thought, his disbelief palpable as he stared at the man in question. Without hesitation, he made his way over to the table, determined to confront him.
"Jicheol?!" Haein exclaimed loudly, hoping to catch Jicheol's attention over the blaring music that filled the club. Startled by the sudden call of his name, Jicheol jolted in his seat, causing the woman in his arms to tumble to the ground. Acting swiftly, Haein reached out to assist her in standing up, his expression a mix of surprise and concern.
"Thank you," she mumbled, rubbing her neck in discomfort. Jicheol's eyes widened in astonishment as he processed the unexpected presence of his boss in the club. Struggling to find his voice, Jicheol was left speechless as he grappled with the shock of the situation. Haein observed the palpable fear and surprise etched on Jicheol's face, realizing the impact of his sudden appearance.
"I guess my presence caught you off guard, huh?" Haein remarked, breaking the tense silence. Jicheol swallowed nervously, avoiding direct eye contact as he shifted his gaze towards the woman standing beside Haein.
