"Goeun!!" Jisoo exclaimed unexpectedly. Goeun stood at the door, her gaze sharp enough to cut through the tension in the air.

"I see Haein isn't home! What a lovely coincidence, isn't it, little sister?" Goeun replied icily. Jisoo swallowed hard, her throat tightening with anxiety. Stepping aside quickly, she gestured for Goeun to come in. Without a word, Goeun brushed past her and walked into the house.

"Please, have a seat," Jisoo offered, attempting to ease the atmosphere. Goeun fixed her with a steely stare and immediately shook her head in refusal.

"I didn't come here for a friendly chat! I need answers! You... you were the woman in his bed that morning in Jeju, weren't you?" Goeun demanded, her voice laced with accusation. Jisoo clutched the edge of the sofa, seeking stability as her mind raced.

"Goeun... please... I... I can explain!" Jisoo stammered, but her words were drowned out by Goeun's furious outburst.

"JUST ANSWER ME! WERE YOU THAT WOMAN?!" Goeun yelled, her anger palpable. Jisoo's gaze fell to the floor, overwhelmed by shame. A sudden, harsh laugh escaped Goeun as she noticed Jisoo's distress, her expression morphing into one of grim satisfaction.

"IT WAS YOU! YOU!" Goeun cried, tears welling in her eyes. Jisoo could see the anger radiating from her sister, the corners of her eyes reddening as her fists clenched tightly.

"Goeun... I'm so sorry... I'm truly sorry you had to see that... But please believe me when I say I never meant to ruin your marriage!" Jisoo pleaded, desperation creeping into her voice.

"That thought never even crossed my mind at the time... I had my whole life waiting for me back in America! I was determined to go back... no matter what!" Jisoo insisted, her voice filled with emotion. Goeun's lips twisted into a disbelieving smile, as if she couldn't process the weight of Jisoo's words.

"So you just had to sleep with my husband like the shameless person you are before heading back?! Taking advantage of the fact that I wasn't around! You're a disgusting liar! I can't believe a word you say... You clearly wanted to destroy my marriage with Haein! He even filed for divorce around the same time you showed up in Korea! You plotted this all out, seducing him again to make him leave me for you in America!"

"And to top it off, you made sure to get pregnant with his child! What a perfect way to secure your hold on him! You wanted him to stay by your side forever! It was you all along! Him flying out to America constantly without a good reason? The reason was YOU!! YOU!!! Those lingerie pieces I found in his drawer that day? They were yours!"

"The one thing that kept him up for hours beside the pool every night was YOU!!! The reason he wouldn't touch me or kiss me like he used to was because of YOU! He changed because of YOU!! YOU FUCKING TOOK HIM FROM ME!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?! WE HAVE CHILDREN TOGETHER!! They are your niece and nephew! How could you betray me like this?!" Goeun cried, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably. Jisoo felt a tight knot form in her throat as her own eyes began to well with tears.

"Goeun! Please... don't... don't say that! Don't believe I did this to hurt you! I had no idea he was your husband at the time! I was completely unaware! Goeun... please, just believe me!" Jisoo pleaded, fear flickering in her eyes. Goeun fixed her with an intense stare before breaking down into even deeper sobs.

"Eomma was right! You'll never change! Always chasing after the men you have no business being with and tearing families apart in the process!" Goeun spat, her disdain evident. A tear slipped down Jisoo's cheek as her sister's words cut deep.

"Goeun! Please, forgive me! I... I never intended to seduce or go after your husband out of malice! I genuinely didn't know Haein was your husband... you have to believe me! Please!" Jisoo pleaded, desperation creeping into her voice.
