Jisoo felt a pounding sensation in her head, as if it might burst at any moment. She gently touched her face, trying to anchor herself to reality, and gradually managed to pry her eyes open. The room was enveloped in darkness, leaving her disoriented about her whereabouts. The last thing she recalled was hastily packing her belongings into a small suitcase while trying to fend off Haein's attempts to keep her in the room.

"Ouch... ahh... my head!" she groaned, wincing at the throbbing ache in her skull. Just then, she heard Minseok's distant cries echoing through the silence.

"Minseok?? I... I'm still here??" she murmured in disbelief, struggling to process what was happening. She hastily swung her legs over the side of the bed and made her way to the door. As she opened it, her eyes widened at the sight of Haein gently cradling Minseok in his arms, feeding him from a bottle as he emerged from the nursery. Haein's gaze locked onto Jisoo, his expression shifting to one of surprise as he noticed her standing there, confusion etched across her face.

"Good morning... How are you feeling?" Haein asked, his voice laced with concern. Jisoo frowned at him, struggling to piece together the events of the previous night. Haein noticed the dissatisfaction etched on her features and his expression shifted.

"You fainted last night! In case you were wondering. You were burning up with fever... I had to call the doctor!" he said, his face clouded with worry. Jisoo couldn't wrap her mind around the fact that she had passed out; the memories were a complete blur.

"How do you feel?" he pressed again, his concern palpable. In frustration, Jisoo sneered at him and quickly turned her back, choosing to ignore him entirely. She slammed the door shut, the loud noise making Minseok jump in surprise. Haein immediately tried to soothe the startled baby, cradling him gently as he cooed softly to calm him down.

"Minseok-ah... baby... shhh... it's okay... shhh!" Haein whispered, gently patting the baby's back and planting soft kisses on his chubby cheeks. As he comforted Minseok, his gaze drifted toward the bedroom door, a flicker of hope in his eyes.

"Jisoo... please... I need you to understand... I need you to think rationally!" he silently pleaded, his heart heavy as he continued to soothe the little one from his loud sobs. His eyes lingered on the door, filled with longing and concern.

Meanwhile, Jisoo stood on the other side, her hands cradling her throbbing head. The chaotic thoughts from the previous night surged back, overwhelming her and intensifying the ache in her mind. She felt trapped in a whirlwind of emotions, struggling to make sense of it all.

"I need to get out of here... I need to get out!!" Jisoo whispered to herself, urgency driving her to the bathroom. An hour ticked by, and Haein's worry deepened as he realized she hadn't emerged since their brief exchange on the second floor. Anxiety gnawed at him, pulling him into a spiral of concern.

He decided to head upstairs, gripping the doorknob tightly as he stood there for what felt like an eternity. He hesitated, torn between wanting to give her the space she needed and the instinct to check on her well-being. Just as he gathered the courage to turn the knob, the door swung open—revealing Jisoo standing there, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and frustration. Their gazes locked, and he could see the panic swirling behind her eyes, mirroring his own frantic feelings.

"Jisoo?" Haein's voice trembled with sorrow as he noticed the suitcase positioned behind her. She was fully dressed and clearly ready to leave.

"Haein, move!!" she commanded sharply, and he felt a weight settle heavily on his chest, making it hard to breathe.

"Please... don't go! What can I do to make you stay? If you truly don't want to see me anymore, then I'll be the one to leave! I'll go so you can have your peace! Just please, don't leave this house!" Haein pleaded, his desperation evident in his voice.
