Two months had flown by, and the couple was thriving like never before. Jisoo was three months along in her pregnancy, savoring every moment of the experience. Although her baby bump wasn't very pronounced yet, she could definitely notice it gradually growing over time. Meanwhile, Haein was equally content with how life was unfolding. Most importantly, he was overjoyed that his children had been living with him for the past month and a half. He had successfully navigated the custody battle, gaining full custody of both kids. Their household had now blossomed into a bustling family of five.

The past few weeks had been incredibly special for Haein, as his older children finally had the chance to meet their baby brother, Minseok. Jeonghun and Seoyeon were utterly smitten with their little sibling, and the affection was mutual. Minseok couldn't stop giggling whenever they were around, and witnessing that joy was a treasure for Haein. There was simply no feeling that could compare to the overwhelming happiness he experienced in seeing his children bond and thrive in their warm, loving home.

Haein felt an immense sense of gratitude toward Jisoo for her unwavering dedication to ensuring his children felt comfortable and cherished in their new home. She embraced them as if they were her own, and it warmed Haein's heart to witness this bond. He noticed a remarkable transformation in Seoyeon; once a shy and reserved girl, she now buzzed around the house, animatedly chatting and following Jisoo wherever she went. Jisoo couldn't have been happier to see Seoyeon embrace her so quickly, reveling in the little girl's joy in being close to her.

However, the situation with Jeonghun was more complex. Haein often found it challenging to interpret the feelings and actions of his eldest son, a puzzle he had grappled with for some time. Despite the love and support surrounding them, understanding Jeonghun remained a struggle for Haein, leaving him longing for a deeper connection with his firstborn.

With that in mind, Haein planned a three-day trip to Busan with Jeonghun. He hoped the getaway would help establish a strong father-son bond, something he had longed to nurture after months of being apart.

During their time together, Haein intended to have meaningful conversations with Jeonghun about important topics, including Minseok's health and the arrival of the new baby. After discussing it with Jisoo, they agreed that it was essential to give Jeonghun the autonomy to decide how he wanted to support his little brother. Jisoo emphasized the importance of approaching the subject in a way that reassured Jeonghun he would never be pressured into anything he wasn't comfortable with.

Although Haein was the adult and held the authority in their relationship, he firmly believed in respecting his son's feelings and choices. He wanted Jeonghun to know that his wishes would always come first, and that their bond would be built on understanding and trust.
