After what felt like an eternity, Jisoo finally locked eyes with the man she had been desperately searching for over the last five hours. A wave of relief washed over her, alleviating the anxiety that had plagued her thoughts during that agonizing time. Meanwhile, Haein noticed the turmoil etched on Jisoo's face and felt a surge of guilt. It was clear she had been enduring a tough emotional battle.

"Jisoo! My love!" Haein called out gently, his heart aching as he took in her shimmering eyes. He quickly distanced himself from the group and made his way to her, standing by the door.

"Why? Why would you do this to me? I was so worried about you! You didn't even answer my calls... why???" Jisoo cried, her voice trembling as she faced him, tears streaming down her cheeks. Haein felt a deep pang of regret for his actions and instinctively wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.

"My love... I'm so, so sorry! I never meant to leave you at the hospital with Jeonghun like that... I truly am sorry!" he whispered softly, his breath warm against her ear. Jisoo squeezed her eyes shut, clinging to him as if he were her lifeline. He could feel her body shivering slightly, a clear testament to the worry that had consumed her.

"WHY IS SHE HERE?? Is this some kind of twisted game to humiliate me, Haein? Is it to flaunt her in front of me, showing that she's with you now?" Goeun shouted, rising abruptly from the ground. Haein's entire body tensed at the sound of her voice; the disdain he felt for her had reached a boiling point. Jisoo quickly sensed the shift in his demeanor as he released her to confront Goeun.

"You want to talk about humiliation? Look at what she endured because of you three! What I'm going through right now is humiliating too—after dedicating ten years to raising my children, I never imagined I would find out that my firstborn isn't even mine!" Haein's voice boomed as he directed his anger at Goeun. She stood frozen, her eyes wide in shock. A wave of conflicting emotions surged through her, and cold sweat trickled down her neck. Her hands trembled as the weight of her greatest secret began to unravel before her.

"I have no idea what you're talking about! You're just making up lies to make me look bad in front of my parents!" Goeun shouted back defiantly. Haein had reached his limit with her dismissive attitude toward his words.

"GOEUN!! I HAVE PROOF! THIS DNA TEST FOR JEONGHUN SHOWS THAT HE'S ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH JISOO!! I'M NOT HIS FATHER—MY SON IS NOT MINE, AND I DEMAND YOU TELL ME WHO HIS REAL FATHER IS!" Haein roared, his outrage causing his veins to bulge visibly

"GOEUN!! I HAVE PROOF! THIS DNA TEST FOR JEONGHUN SHOWS THAT HE'S ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH JISOO!! I'M NOT HIS FATHER—MY SON IS NOT MINE, AND I DEMAND YOU TELL ME WHO HIS REAL FATHER IS!" Haein roared, his outrage causing his veins to bulge visibly. He thrust the DNA result in her direction, the paper shaking slightly in his hand. Jisoo, deeply worried about Haein, gently grasped his forearm, trying to bring him back to a calmer state. Her touch served as a reminder for him to breathe and regain composure. Goeun's gaze slowly shifted toward her mother, who looked visibly distressed, her face a portrait of anguish.

"Abunim!?" Goeun exclaimed, her voice cracking under the weight of her emotions. Hyuna, her mother, wept quietly, shaking her head in despair.

"Goeun... my daughter... you know I love you. No matter what happened in the past, I will always stand by your side! Just please, tell us the truth!" Hyuna pleaded softly. Overwhelmed by the humiliation swirling in her mind, Goeun let out an involuntary sob. Her gaze hardened as she glared at Jisoo, who was still holding onto Haein.
