"Marcus." I said, now shaking.

"Yes?" Marcus said.

Do it. Tell him.

"I um." I said.

"Go on." He said.

"Okay. I'm just gonna get to it. I like you. A lot. I don't know how the fuck it happened. But I do. So there. Yeah." I said.

Marcus stood up, standing right in front of me.

"You, Zoey Rivera, like me?" Marcus asked.

"You're asking that like it's a surprise." I said.

Just then, he pulled me in and kissed me. Marcus Alarie. Just fucking kissed me.

"Wow. Okay." I said.

"I'm sorry." Marcus said.

"No." I said, pulling him in and kissing him again.

I then... started making out with him.

What the fuck Zoey?

I liked it. I liked it a lot.

"Damn Zoey." Marcus said with a laugh.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." I said.

"No, you should have because I liked that." He said.

"You did?" I asked.

"Yes." He said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"So like, what does this mean?" I asked.

"What do you think?" He asked, biting his lip.

I stayed silent.

"Jesus Zoey you are slow." Marcus said, laughing at me.

Glad to still know he's my best friend.

"I like clarification Marcus." I said.

Marcus interlocked his hands together, holding my waist.

"Zoey. Will you be my girlfriend?" Marcus asked.

"Yes. Yes I will." I said.

"Then come here Jesus." He said, kissing me again.

Wow.

I finally pulled away again.

"I can't believe this is happening Marcus." I said.

"What?" Marcus asked, sitting next to me.

"You're the slow one now." I said.

Marcus kissed me again. I blushed.

"Cute." Marcus said.

"Shut it." I said.

Marcus laughed. I loved his laugh. I loved him.

"So, Zoey. How does it feel having your first boyfriend?" Marcus asked.

"Well, I don't know because we've only been dating for 3 minutes." I said.

"I swear to God." He said.

"What?" I asked.

Marcus pulled me in again, kissing me. I kept feeling sparks and lightning bolts.

"Why do you keep doing that?" I asked.

"Because. It's cute because you blush every time." He said.

"Not true." I said.

"You look like a cherry right now." He said.

I looked away as I felt him tackle me.

"I have you all to myself now." Marcus said.

"Best we make it count then." I said.

"I get to deal with your stubborn and slow ass." He said, laying next to me.

"You love dealing with me." I said.

"Eh, you suck." He said.

"Wow. Dick." I said, laughing.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"You're excused." I said.

"Bitch, come here." He said, kissing me again.

I could get used to this.

"I don't want our siblings knowing yet." I said.

"Why?" Marcus asked.

"Because I told Delaney that I would never date you." I said.

"And yet here you are." Marcus said, laughing.

"Shut it. Anyways. I don't know. I'll tell them in a few days. We can do it like when Delaney and I come over this weekend for dinner." I said.

"That's fine." He said.

"I gotta go though. Delaney's here." I said.

"Hold on." He said, standing me up with him.

I smiled, kissing Marcus. Making out with him too.

"Man I love when you do that." Marcus said, kissing me again.

I smiled.

Marcus walked me to the front door, kissing me one more time before I went to Delaney's car.

"Hey Laney." I said.

"Hey. How was Marcus's?" Delaney asked.

Fucking fantastic.

"Pretty fine. He just played video games the whole time." I said.

No, he kissed me a whole bunch.

"Sounds like something Marcus would do." She said.

I laughed as she took us home. I went up to my room and laid down, smiling. Marcus was my boyfriend. He was my fucking boyfriend. He made my heart happy.

I really liked him.
