I woke up the next morning and suddenly just felt happy. Then I remembered. Marcus.
I smiled. I checked my phone and he texted me.
Marcus: Good morning beautiful.
Me: Good morning. Did you sleep okay?
Marcus: Yes I did, how about you?
Me: Honestly, I did. After such a long time.
Marcus: I'm glad.
Me: Me too. I'm gonna get ready. I'll see you at school. I love you.
Marcus: I love you more.
I smiled. I got dressed for school, grabbing my things and getting in the car with Delaney.
We got to school and I saw Marcus. My boyfriend. My best friend.
"Hey guys." Delaney said.
Dylan and Delaney kissed. I was happy I had someone I could do that too.
"In front of us? Really?" Marcus said.
"Go away then dork." Dylan said, laughing.
Marcus and I walked away.
"Hey guess what?" Marcus asked.
"What?" I asked.
Marcus pulled me to the side of the bathrooms, kissing me.
"You're blushing again." Marcus said.
"Shut it. Should I tell Lynette?" I asked.
"If you want to. I don't mind." He said.
"Okay." I said.
"God I don't want this to be a secret from your sister any longer I just wanna fucking kiss you in front of everyone." He said, kissing me a whole bunch.
"I know. But I want them to be like surprised." I said.
"I get it. I'll see you in a minute. I love you." He said, kissing me again.
"I love you." I said, hugging him.
His hugs felt better.
I saw Lynette. I smiled.
"Did you tell him?" Lynette asked.
"Yes. We're dating. Don't tell Laney please." I said.
"You go girl!!" She said, smiling as I hugged her.
I saw Marcus and he winked at me. Fucker.
I got to my first hour class and Marcus was doing his work.
I sat down and he looked up at me and smiled. Cute.
I did my work and I hugged him before 2nd hour. I got to my 2nd hour with Lynette and we had a free period.
"I can't believe I'm dating him." I said.
"I'm so happy for you. You look so happy." Lynette said.
"I am." I said.
"When do you plan on telling Delaney?" She asked.
"This weekend when we go to Marcus's for dinner." I said.
"Good." She said.
After my last 2 classes without Lynette or Marcus we made it to lunch. Marcus sat by me, placing his hand on my thigh. God the butterflies.
"You guys are just too cute together." Lynette said.
"Yes." I said with a smile.
I loved that he wanted to deal with my stubborn ass.
After lunch and my last class of the day Marcus and Dylan came over.
"I wanna tell them." I said.
"Me too. I don't wanna keep this a secret anymore." Marcus said, kissing me.
I got distracted from him kissing me.
"What were we talking about?" I asked.
Marcus laughed at me as I kissed him again.
We heard footsteps so we instantly stopped.
"Can we come in?" Delaney asked.
"Yeah." I said.
Delaney and Dylan came in, shutting the door behind them.
"We're gonna move dinner to tomorrow. I'm busy this weekend with work." Delaney said.
"Sounds good." I said.
Delaney and Dylan left.
"Tell them tomorrow?" Marcus asked.
"Yes. We have fall break after tomorrow anyway." I said.
"I have you all to myself." He said, pulling me on top of him and kissing me.
"Yes you do. You're gonna wanna leave after 5 days." I said.
"Babe I've been dealing with you since I was in diapers I knew then I should've took my ass and left but I didn't." He said.
"You're right." I said.
"I love you too much, I'm not leaving you." He said.
"Good. Because I really need you." I said.
"I know you do. I'm just so awesome." He said.
"On second thought..." I said with a laugh.
Marcus gave me a dirty look as I smiled at him, laying in his arms.
I really did need him. I couldn't lose him again.
