I had ended up falling asleep and I woke up, Marcus wasn't in his bed. I just wanted him to be in here with me.
Just then Marcus came in. He must've taken a shower because his hair was wet.
"You alright?" Marcus said.
"No." I said.
"What's up?" He asked.
"Come here." I said.
Marcus smiled at me, getting in his bed as I instantly went into his arms.
"Is everything okay?" Marcus asked.
"Yeah." I said.
Marcus and I watched movies for awhile until Dylan and Delaney came back from school.
"Can we come in?" Delaney asked.
"Yeah." Marcus said.
Delaney and Dylan walked in, I came closer to Marcus.
"How are you holding up Zoey?" Delaney asked.
"Hurt." I said.
"I'm sorry." She said.
"We're gonna be here for you Zoey." Dylan said.
It wasn't like I was gonna kill myself again. I didn't really want to. I just felt hurt.
"I'll be fine. I just need a few days." I said.
"I'll get your school work everyday then. For now stay with Marcus, do NOT drive by yourself." Delaney said.
"Okay." I said.
"I love you Zoey. Always know that." She said, giving me a kiss on the forehead.
Dylan and Delaney left.
"Hey mama do you wanna go for a drive or something? Clear your head?" Marcus asked.
"Yeah." I said.
I got myself looking presentable enough, going with Marcus out to the car.
Marcus got in the driver seat as I got in the passenger. He turned on the car and started driving around, holding onto my thigh.
We decided to go to the mall to just walk around, I didn't wanna be depressed in bed.
I held his hand the whole time.
"You've been so attached to me it's so cute." Marcus said.
"I just need you now more than ever." I said.
"I get it mama. I'm here for you." He said, kissing me.
I saw Chanel.
"God she's here." I said.
"She's talking to Mary too. Hopefully she's not hurting her." Marcus said.
Mary saw us and immediately left Chanel.
"She knows about me too. She knows everything." Mary said.
"What did she say? Is she gonna tell anyone?" I asked.
"She said if I don't stop hanging out with you she's gonna tell everyone." She said.
"I'll call her dad about it. Don't worry Mary." I said.
"Thank you." She said.
I nodded as Mary left and Chanel came over to us.
"I told you if you didn't leave him you'd pay consequences." Chanel said.
"If you pull anything your career is done Chanel." I said.
"You can't keep using that against me." She said.
"Then stop fucking threatening me." I said.
"Why weren't you guys at school today?" She asked.
"That's none of your concern." I said.
"Dad passing away?" She asked.
"How the hell do you know about that?" I asked.
"I overheard my dad telling you about it last night." She said.
"Look you need to leave me the hell alone." I said.
She really did need to leave me alone. I was tired of her shit.
