I woke up the next morning to my alarm, turning it off.

I got up, turning on my light as Marcus woke up.

"God I don't wanna do this today." Marcus said.

"We can do it." I said.

I got ready for school as Marcus did the same.

Delaney and Dylan already left. I grabbed my keys and Marcus grabbed his. He had to go home after school today.

We both arrived at school. I got out of my car, walking over to Marcus.

I held his hand as we walked in. I got to my locker, grabbing my things.

"Hey mama I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Marcus said.

"Okay." I said as he kissed me, leaving to the bathroom.

And then Chanel showed up.

"Why was he with you? That was supposed to be a private conversation." Chanel said.

"He had come over after school Chanel. Besides you don't control who I can and can't date." I said.

"Did you guys date while you were in the the mental hospital?" She asked.

"No, we got back together when I came back." I said.

"Whatever. You need to leave him." She said.

I just walked away. I really didn't need her bullshit right now. I was just healing.

I got to my first hour class, Marcus had come in a little late.

I was focusing on my notes until I forgot. Chanel sits right in front of him.

I was never a jealous person. I didn't care that she was sitting right in front of him. I didn't care for shit, and I didn't worry because Marcus didn't give a fuck about any other girls besides me and Delaney.

~Marcus's POV~

"So, Marcus. Do you know the answers to the homework?" Chanel asked.

"Nope." I said, just finishing the homework.

"Seems like you do." She said.

"And I'm not sharing them." I said, taking Zoey's paper to turn in.

Zoey gave me that little smile. I loved that girl so much.

I sat back down, starting on the notes.

"I think I might need a tutor." Chanel said.

I ignored her.

"Marcus, would you ever tutor me?" She asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"I'd rather not." I said.

"What's stopping you?" She asked.

I ignored her. After my first hour I went to my locker and Zoey came and hugged me.

"I love you. I'll see you at lunch." I said.

"I love you more." Zoey said.

The next class I had was also with Chanel. Then the rest she had with Zoey. That poor girl.

"You know you can't resist me Marcus." Chanel said.

"I can. And I always will. Now please, leave me alone." I said.

"Why would I?" She asked.

"I don't like you. I barely even know you." I said.

"Zoey's not good for you. She's not stable enough." She said.

"Leave her mental health alone Chanel. Leave her alone in general." I said.

"Why are you so defensive of her?" She asked.

"Because she's my girlfriend, and my best friend. And I'm never leaving her." I said.

"What if I told everyone about her in the mental hospital?" She asked.

"Then say goodbye to your career of modeling." I said.

"Whatever Marcus. You both won't get away with this. I'm gonna make sure you come to me." She said.

"Good luck with that. I'm pretty attached to Zoey." I said.

After school I went back to my house. Dylan was home and Delaney was here too. What?

"Why isn't anyone with Zoey right now?" I asked.

"I was just about to leave." Delaney said.

"Just hurry please. I don't want her home alone." I said.

"I know. She's fine she texted me that she's okay." She said.

I nodded, going upstairs.

I FaceTimed her.

"Hi love." Zoey answered.

"Hi. What are you doing?" I asked.

"Laying down. I'm sleepy." She said.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Mhm." She muttered.

"I wish I was there with you." I said.

"It's okay." She said.

"Are you sure you're okay with being alone?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm okay. I'm probably gonna take a nap though." She said.

"Okay." I said.

"Can you stay on call with me though?" She asked.

"Yeah of course. I think Delaney's leaving now. I heard the front door open and close." I said.

"Okay." She said.

She placed the phone on her nightstand, falling asleep. I took a picture.

"I love you beautiful." I said.

I saw her smile. Took a picture of that too. God I loved that girl so damn much.
