~Delaney's POV~

We had gotten Zoey's room done, leaving it cozy and artistic.

"I think she'll like it a lot." Dylan said.

"I hope so." I said.

"Alright. Let's get everything else done." He said.

I nodded as we started on Zoey's bathroom next.

"She has so much damn makeup." I said, re-organizing it.

"Definitely." Dylan said.

We finished cleaning and re-organizing her bathroom, cleaning the rest of the hallway up.

"Finally we're done." I said.

"We did amazing." Dylan said.

"I'm hoping she likes it." I said.

"I'm sure she will." He said.

~Zoey's POV~

I woke up at around noon, I needed that sleep.

"Look who's finally awake." Marcus said.

"I was tired." I said.

"I get it." He said.

I heard my phone ring and answered it.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey. What're you doing?" Delaney asked.

"I just woke up." I said.

"Alright. Well, we're all done with your surprise, and you're coming home today because we just can't wait." She said.

"Alright. What time do you want me home?" I asked.

"Dylans gonna pick you up here in a few minutes." She said.

"Alright." I said.

I got up.

"What happened?" Marcus asked.

"Delaney wants me home today instead, I guess they're done with whatever they were doing." I said.

"Okay." He said.

I got everything ready as Dylan got here.

"You guys ready to go?" Dylan asked.

"I think so. Marcus?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am." Marcus said.

We got in the car. I wasn't really curious of what they planned, nor did I really care. I just didn't want anything for my birthday, nobody listened.

We got back to my house.

"Just leave your stuff in my car for now." Dylan said.

"Okay." I said, shutting the door after me.

We got inside and it was... different. Good different? I liked it.

"Surprise!" Delaney said.

"I like it." I said, looking around.

"I also re-did your room, but I kept all your valuables. I just got you a new bed sheet and shit." She said.

Then I realized. I left the bottle of Xanax on my desk. She probably saw it. I decided not to bring it up.

I went upstairs to my room. It looked nice, I liked it. She did my bathroom too, probably found the other Xanax. I checked just in case. I locked the door, opening the little box I had. It was all still there. I kinda sighed in relief. I wasn't gonna be here much longer.

I closed the box, hiding it behind my other stuff and flushing the toilet.

"I'm gonna take you to get your license tomorrow." Dylan said.

"Alright." I said.

After hanging out for a few hours Dylan and Marcus went home.

"Do you like the house? Be honest." Delaney said.

"I love it Delaney. Thank you." I said.

"I do have a question." She said.

"Yes. I used again. I already know." I said.

"When?" She asked.

"Day before first day of school." I said.

"I noticed." She said.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to forget the fact that I had to go back there." I said.

"Just don't do it again. I already threw away everything." She said.

Not everything.

"I know. I'm okay now." I said.

I wasn't.

I got in bed, falling asleep.
