I was stable enough to go back home and back to school. I felt okay again. I just needed time to feel better and I was glad I didn't go through it all alone.

"Are you sure you can go to school?" Delaney asked.

"Yes. I'm fine." I said.

"Okay. I'll see you later. Dylan's here." She said.

I nodded as she went out and Marcus walked in.

"Hey baby." Marcus said, giving me a kiss.

"Hi. You ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said.

I got Delaney's keys and went into her car, turning it on and driving Marcus and I to school.

"Are you sure you can do it?" Marcus asked.

"Yes. I'm fine." I said.

This is what I hated. Everyone worrying about me. All the time. Was I seriously that bad? Man.

I held Marcus's hand, walking into school and to my locker.

Chanel immediately walked over to us, that was the last thing I wanted to deal with.

"So, you're back." Chanel said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Very sad. I was a lot happier without you here." She said.

"Suck it up." I said.

"You know, it's sad losing a loved one. Well, he didn't necessarily love you but it's still sad." She said.

"Can you stop talking?" I asked.

"Marcus, are you just gonna let her keep talking to me like this when I've done nothing?" She asked.

"Yeah." Marcus said, grabbing my hand.

"You're just a piece of shit psycho who can't handle one bad thing or else you'll go straight to drugs, straight back to the mental hospital where you belong." Chanel said.

What. The. Fuck.

"Bring that up again. I dare you." I said.

"Zoey. No." Marcus said.

Chanel smirked at me, walking away.

I closed my locker, walking to class. I was so tired of her. I knew that if she said one more thing about the hospital, I was gonna punch her.

I got into my first hour, plugging in my headphones so I wouldn't have to hear Chanel's annoying ass voice.

~Marcus's POV~

Chanel had been torturing Zoey ever since she went to our school. It sucked for Zoey and I was tired of it. I didn't know what to do, because I knew Zoey hated when people would worry about her.

She had her headphones plugged in, I knew she just needed my support and not my worries.

"Is she just not talking to you?" Chanel asked.

"No. She's okay with me. She just doesn't wanna hear your voice." I said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because you're a bitch Chanel. You're rude. Now please, leave me alone." I said.

I went back to my work, making sure Zoey was okay. She was focused on her work. I smiled. I loved her.

After class I held her hand. She took a deep breath.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"No." Zoey said.

"I'm sorry mama. Is there anything I can do?" I asked.

Zoey stopped, pulling me in for a hug. She wrapped her arms around my neck. When she did that I knew she just wanted a hug.

I wrapped my arms around her waist, rubbing her back.

"It's all gonna be okay. I'm always here for you." I said.

"I just don't know what to do. She won't stop." Zoey said.

"She doesn't know what she's talking about. You're amazing, beautiful, and a very smart person. You're the strongest girl I know." I said.

"Thank you. I have to go to class. I love you, I'll see you at lunch." She said, kissing me.

I walked over to my next class... Chanel sat right next to me.

I sat down, working on the assignment.

Thank God Chanel didn't talk. Fucking bitch.
