I woke up the next morning to my alarm. I yawned, stretching before getting up. I turned on my light, getting ready for school. I went downstairs and ate breakfast, going back upstairs and brushing my teeth.

I got my hair and makeup done after, grabbing my phone and backpack.

Dylan had already taken Delaney to school, so she left me with her car. I got my wallet with my license and her keys, going to the car and starting it.

Then I got a call from Marcus.

"Hey." I answered.

"Hey, can you give me a ride to school?" Marcus asked.

"Yeah of course, on my way now." I said.

I drove over to Marcus's house. He was standing outside, on his phone. He got in the car.

"Alright Mr. I'm 16 but haven't gotten my license yet." I said.

"I wanted to wait until you were back so you could be there with me." Marcus said.

"How sweet." I said.

I drove to the school, parking next to Dylan.

"How the hell do you park better than me?" Dylan asked.

"Because I'm awesome." I said, snapping my fingers.

I got my backpack and the rest of my things, walking into school with Marcus.

I saw Mary, she looked rough still.

"I'll be right back." I said.

"Okay." Marcus said.

I walked over to Mary.

"Hey Mary, you alright?" I asked.

"No. Not at all." Mary said.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"My friends left me." She said.

"Do you wanna hangout with me?" I asked.

"Yes please. You're the only person who gets me right now." She said.

I gave her a hug. I could tell she really needed it.

"Thank you." She said.

"Of course." I said.

Lynette saw me and immediately went over to me.

"Oh my God I was so worried about you. You look so damn good." Lynette said.

"I missed you." I said.

"Tell me everything when you can." She said.

"Come with me and Delaney to the mall today. I'll let you know everything that happened." I said.

"Okay." She said.

"I'll be driving. I got my license before I went to the mental hospital." I said.

Lynette smiled at me, hugging me again.

Just then I got a phone call from an unknown number.

"Hold on, I gotta take this." I said.

I went to my locker.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Zoey." My dad said.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I have 20 years in prison because of you." He said.

"You did that yourself." I said.

"No. This is all your fault. You're psycho. You did this all yourself." He said.

I hung up. I didn't need his negative energy. But the good thing was I didn't think of doing drugs or leaving the world when he talked to me. I felt good.

I closed my locker, walking with Marcus and Mary to our first hour. Mary sat in front of me.

"This class is so damn boring." Mary said.

"No kidding." I said.

After stupid hours of school we got to lunch.

"I feel comfortable with only Lynette and Marcus knowing I was in there." Mary said.

"It's okay." I said.

We sat down, Lynette sat by me, Marcus and Mary sat across from us.

A girl came up to Marcus. I didn't really pay attention.

"Hey, you're cute. You think I could get your number?" The girl asked.

"Sorry no, I'm kinda waiting for someone." Marcus said.

"Who?" She asked.

"She's sitting right in front of me." He said.

I looked up.

"What?" I asked, eating the rest of my food.

"That's fine." The girl said, walking away.

Then Branden came over.

"Hey babe." He said, sitting next to Lynette.

I raised an eyebrow at Marcus.

"I got them together while you were gone." Marcus said.

Without me? Ouchie!

After school I hugged Marcus goodbye. Dylan was taking him home.

"I meant what I said Zoey." Marcus said.

"About what?" I asked.

"I'm waiting for you." He said.

"I think we've waited enough." I said.

"What does that mean?" He asked.

I smiled at him, kissing him.

"I missed that." He said.

"Me too." I said.

I kissed him again, going to Delaney's car.

I got in the driver seat as Delaney got in the front, Lynette in the back.

"Dylan gave me his credit card for your clothes." Delaney said.

"He didn't have to do that." I said.

"He's got your back." She said.

I smiled as I drove us to the mall. I got clothes that I wanted that were my size and I got Lynette some stuff too. I loved spoiling my best friend.

We got to my house, I put away all my new clothes.

"Alright. Tell me everything." Lynette said.

Here we go.
