CHAPTER 26: AVE'S LITTLE PUNISHMENT

Roxiette Avegayle's POV

I don't know what am I doing anymore.

Life is starting to make me unsure.

Even I, myself, have been weirded out.

Why have I been acting strange these last few weeks?

That's not my style, that's not so me.

I had complete confidence in my life growing up.

I was forcing myself to get back to who I really am. But I guess I can't anymore because I can't even control my effin self. Everything has gotten out of hand.

Although I am aware that there's something wrong with me, I'm sure that I can't easily find it out.

I don't even know where to begin.

I'm beginning to act a little possessive toward the woman who I never anticipated becoming my friend. Suddenly it came out of my mind that I wanted to protect her in everything.

When I see someone else paying attention to her, it irritates me. I began to dislike it, I hate it. Whenever I see her sad, it makes me sad also. But when she's happy, parang ang liwa-liwanag ng buhay ko.

She lights up my whole existence indeed. 

Every time I catch her smiling, I don't know why my heart melts. Natutunaw ang puso ko, nanlalambot ako. Hays... time goes by so quickly. It's as if a train just went by and crossed it. And there, everything was altered. 

Am I really starting to like her—

Romantically?

or am I just moved by my emotion because she's always with me?

"Ate Rox, bakit ka po tulala? iniisip niyo po ba 'yong crush niyo? yieeeee!" Janesy teased. Kanina pa nila ako pinagtritripan, pero hinahayaan ko lang. I even played with them with their barbie's. It's fine, I'm enjoying it. It feels so good to make them happy, as if I'm playing with my younger siblings.

"Wait lang kids, ha? I'll just drink a water." Paalam ko sa kanila. I've been chatting with them for a while now, at nakakauhaw pala ang kadaldalang taglay ni Genesis. She's so adorable, just like her older sister.

Lumabas na muna ako ng kwarto nila para pumunta ng kitchen dahil nga iinom ako ng water. 

"Hindi. Tayong dalawa lang ang aalis. Wala ka bang paa? may pamasahe rin naman ako papunta doon." I stopped walking because of what I heard.

Is that Xyri?

"Kung nakasakay tayo sa Van niya, edi nakatipid pa tayo."

Are they going somewhere? and bakit ayaw nilang malaman ko? 

I hid on the side when I saw them walking towards my place.

I just went straight to the kitchen and drank some water. I went out again when I saw that they were no longer there. Maybe they're out already.

I simply peeked outside. They are still there walking.

Before they had gone far, I dialed Peter's number. He's one of my butlers, at isa sa mga mabilis na utusan ko sa mansion. He's also one of the most trusted butler na kilala ko. Siya lang din ang nauutusan ko when it comes to this matter, 'yong iba kasi ay nauuto pa ng dad ko.

"Peter, come here to my place, hurry up. Just track my location, my location is already open."
