CHAPTER 49: A TASTE OF VICTORY

Roxiette Avegayle's POV

It's been five and half months since the last time I saw, I hugged, I talked, I kissed my woman. 

I miss her so bad. I can't wait to see her again.

But I'm not sure if nandoon ba siya sa bahay or nasa probinsya na nila. Vacation month na kasi nila.

Hays, I'm really mad at my own dad. Kung ano-ano ba naman ang mga pinagawa niya sa'kin for half a year. He really thought na magtitino ako at babalik raw ako sa tunay na ako. What went through his mind and made him think that I'm just fake now?

I'm myself now. Wala namang mali sa'kin. Eyes at brain niya ang mali. I don't even know nga kung bakit sinasabi nila na sa kaniya ko raw namana ang pagiging matalino.

After my bodyguards took me to my father, I found him looking at me as if he's thinking I'll go to hell.

I just rolled my eyes at him.

His childishness and his homophobic nature are hitting him again.

"Nagrerebelde ka na talaga sa pamilya, Roxiette Avegayle. Sumusobra na ang pagiging matigas na ulo mo. Pinagbigyan na kita no'ng una, pero what did you do? Mas pinapalala mo pa."

"Here we are again." I whispered and took a deep sigh. "Dad. Kailan mo ba magegets na I'm gay? I. AM. LESBIAN. I. LOVE. WOMEN—NO, I LOVE WOMAN, IN SHORT, I LOVE MY WOMAN. I don't want to be with a man! period! Lahat na lang ng want niyo, gusto niyo gagawin ko, I'm your daughter, dad. Not your puppet!" Every word I say has an emphasis. I am very frustrated right now. Palagi ko na lang kasi 'tong inuulit sa kaniya. I'm so sick of it. "Magagawa ko naman 'yon, but not this. I'm gay, period. I sacrificed enough. This time, hindi mo na ako mapipilit sa kung anong gusto mong gawin ko. And if anything happens to my woman na malaman kong kagagawan mo, I'm not gonna let it pass... dad." I added and forced myself to calm down. I'm serious.

I noticed an alteration in his mood. He's furious right now, and I certainly know it. He is also the cause of his current stress and frustration, so there is nothing I can do about it.
