Usagi stirred under the sheets that lay over her.

Tap. Tap.

 

Tap. Tap.

"... Ugh..." The young redhead groaned as she opened an eye, noticing it was still completely dark outside.

Tap. Tap.

'What's that damned noise?' Usagi thought as lay on her mattress, her eyes scanning around the room to find the source of the sound.

Tap. Tap.

It sounded like something was hitting glass really softly. It made only enough noise for her to hear, and not anyone else.

Usagi sat up in her bed in a half asleep state, curios to know what the noise was but also very tired. She glanced towards the window.

Tap. Tap.

A bird was tapping its beak against the glass.

This bird though... it wasn't a messenger bird of Konoha, or any of the allying villages.

As soon as Usagi's eyes hit the birds, she knew exactly who the message the bird was carrying was from.

'Nagato.' Usagi opened the window, taking the two scrolls from the rinnegan eyed bird. 'Just what do you want now?'

One scroll contained a mission, one that Usagi knew she couldn't refuse, and the other...

"Dad!!" 

After getting rid of the first scroll containing the mission details, Usagi ran into Kakashi's room waving the second scroll around.

"Dad, look!!" She jumped onto his bed, shaking his shoulder with her free hand.

Kakashi hated being woken up, but instead of being mad, he was more so curios as to why she was so worked up at 3am.

"... What?" He sat up with a yawn.

"Look!" Usagi shoved the scroll in her dad's face.

Tired, and a little irritated, he snatched the scroll from the girl. "... A scroll?"
