"The Eight and Nine Tails have come out to play."

It was something that changed the war entirely.

Madara had been stuck, trying to locate exactly where the beasts needed to complete his plan were hidden... but now, with the news just delivered to him by White Zetsu, things were finally going his way.

From right in the centre of the battlefield rose up a large statue.

The Gedo Statue.

Upon laying her eyes on this large statue, Usagi knew exactly what it was and exactly what it meant.

This was the husk of the Ten Tails, an empty shell waiting to be filled with all of the Tailed Beasts chakra. If Madara was bringing this out, it meant he had either captured the remaining hosts, or was close to doing so.

Nagato had told Usagi, that only people who possessed the rinnegan could summon that statue. She already knew Madara had taken Nagato's eyes, but...

Had Madara mastered using such an advanced technique in so little time?

She didn't have time to think about how he could have summoned the statue, she had to stop that thing before it was too late.

Only people who possess the power of the Uchiha and the Senju can control the Gedo Statue, meaning it was up to her to stop it.

As she activated her Six Paths senjutsu and headed over to where the large husk was fighting, she saw Choji and his father, their bodies enlarged to the point where they could no longer grow. Even their clans' legendary expansion jutsu couldn't compare to the size of this statue, this statue that was currently fighting back under the command of a masked man standing on its shoulder.

Usagi hadn't had much time to learn to control her senjutsu powers just yet, but she didn't have time to practice now. This was it.

She had been fighting alongside Ino and many other ninja against a portion of the White Zetsu army when it appeared. The look on Ino's face as chakra burst from Usagi's body, forming 9 truth-seeker orbs which floated behind her. The look Ino had at that moment was nothing compared to the look Ino had when Usagi's feet lifted off the ground, her body hovering a metre above where they had been just a moment ago.

"I gotta go." Usagi said, her words mushed together with a panic before she turned around in mid-air and shot up into the sky.

Ino's face? Priceless.

There was no time to laugh at Ino's stupid expression though, as she had more clones to fight, and Usagi had a beast to tame.

Ninja were giving their best efforts to contain the beast, and so many of them were being injured...

If Usagi couldn't do this, they were screwed.

She was stronger than Madara, she knew she was... she could do this.

She had to do this.

Flying at full speed towards the statue, she summoned her shakujo, a white, almost floor length cloak spawning over her kimono at the same time. The cloaks sleeves only reached an inch above her elbow, and it featured a high collar with a black tomoe design on either side.

She didn't mind the cloak, but if her skin and hair turned white like the Sage of Six Paths did, she would definitely not be happy. Kami forbid if she ever grew horns like he had had too...
