Naruto was out of the village.

Word had it that he was supposed to be coming back soon, alongside Tsunade, the woman who was to be the fifth Hokage.

"When are they coming back?" Usagi asked her dad as they sat at the table, eating the meal Usagi had prepared.

"Should be tomorrow if they're on time." Kakashi answered. "Everyone's been making preparations today. They'll be disappointed if it's not tomorrow."

A small smile came across Usagi's lips.

Lately everything had seemed so normal.

It was just Usagi and Kakashi going about their lives as usual, it was peaceful.

"The lady..." Usagi spoke up again. "That's going to be Hokage... Is she nice?"

Kakashi hesitated for a moment. "... Yeah. She's nice." Uncertainty was clear in his voice.

"Dad." Usagi warned, wanting to hear his honest opinion on the woman who was to soon rule the village.

"... She's interesting." He said, for lack of a better word.

"'Kay."

For young Usagi, meeting Tsunade was a very peculiar event.

The blonde, busty woman lay her eyes upon the young redhead, and the second she did so, those brown eyes doubled in size.

"No way..." Tsunade gasped at the sight of the girl.

Everyone that was there was confused.

Naruto, being the loudest person there, spoke up. "What do you mean no way?" He asked.

Usagi, who had opened the door to her house to let in the medic, was the most confused of all. 'What the hell? Is something wrong with this lady?'

"You..." Tsunade kneeled down so that she was eye level with Usagi. "You look exactly like Rei."

Usagi's jaw dropped. Rei. Rei was her mother. How did Tsunade know her mother?!

In shock, Usagi backed away. She dashed off to her dad's room as Tsunade stood up again.

"Dad!!" She whisper yelled, not wanting anyone else to hear her voice.
