"Honestly... after this war, I quit being Hokage!"

"Lady Tsunade, calm down..."

The weather was harsh as the two girls, one jonin and two ANBU escorts all made their way through the forests surrounding Konoha.

"Calm down?!" Tsunade glared at the jonin accompanying her, Shikaku Nara, her typically warm brown eyes filled with a coldness that contrasted greatly to the burning sun. "This shit wasn't in the Hokage job description!"

The ANBU sighed. If only the citizens of Konoha knew the true nature of their leader. This woman sure knew how to complain... her pace had even slowed down, despite them all needing to be moving at top speed.

'She almost complains as much as my wife...' It was a thought Shikaku wouldn't dare say out loud.

"..." The youngest of the bunch, Usagi, simply tried her best not to burst out into laughter at her cousin's immature and petty complaints. It worked for the most part, but she couldn't help but let a tiny snicker make itself known, earning her a sharp glare from her older cousin.

But why were the five of them travelling in almost intolerably hot weather at such a fast pace you ask?

The five of them were currently on their way to an emergency meeting called by the Raikage. This war was becoming realer by the second, the days until they would all have to fight for their lives weaning down with an impossibly real speed.

But why was Usagi attending this meeting for the Kage?

The Hidden Rain had a surprisingly large number of skilled shinobi, each of which were willing to defending their small but proud land. Of course their numbers were nothing compared to the main hidden villages, but they needed as much help as possible.

It wasn't a very fun walk, well, not for Tsunade at least, but the quick pace was worth it.

They arrived at the meeting point with time to spare, as did all the other Kage.

"You're all early." The Raikage commented as they all seated themselves down, their chosen advisors standing beside them. Tsunade was the only person with two advisors, something that very quickly caught everyone else's attention.

Mifune, the person who had overseen their previous meet was also present. "That girl..." Recalling how the previous meeting had gone down, he recalled the mentioning of a certain Uchiha clan member, one who was even stronger than Sasuke.

"This is Usagi Hatake."

She didn't look like an Uchiha, nor did her last name match the clans, but after hearing that first name and sensing her powerful chakra, they all knew she was the girl Danzo had spoken of.

Noticing that everyone in the room was staring at her, she blushed, her confidence somewhat diminishing. "Uh..."

Tsunade let out a sigh. "She is not evil, nor is she working with the Akatsuki. I was informed of everything Danzo said, and can confirm none of it is true. Usagi Hatake is currently leading the Hidden Rain village."

The Raikage was hesitant, but this girl didn't really appear intimidating, so he wasn't fearful. "And just what is she doing here?"

Tsunade glanced back at Usagi, letting her know it was alright to speak.
