Usagi 97

The Allied Shinobi Forces were thankful.

After the destruction of headquarters and the death of many valued ninja, the shinobi left out on the battlefield were not sad, but instead they were thankful. They had left them all with a plan, a hope at saving the world.

Their sacrifice was not in vain, as they now had a plan that could very well save the world.

It was a noble sacrifice, one that Usagi would carry out until the end.

In the plan devised... it was up to Usagi to act as a distraction. She had power, she had the rinnegan. She had the ability to stop Madara. It was something she had always struggled to believe, but it was something she would sooner than later have to prove.

'I'm sorry to ask this of you.' Shikaku had said.

'It's fine... thank you for always treating me kindly.'

'Make sure my son doesn't do anything stupid, ok?'

'... I will.'

They hadn't been Shikaku Nara's last words, but they were the last things he ever asked of Usagi.

The tragedy of war was something they never wanted to experience ever again. 

This experience was one she wanted to end as soon as possible.

The Ten Tails, though revived, was not yet complete. The Eight Tails and Nine Tails were still alive, and there was no jinchuriki to truly use the power of the Ten Tails.

As things stood, they still had hope.

The Hyuga clan moved in first, using their jutsus to push the beast back, to earn some time.

The Tailed Beast was going berserk, rubbles crashing down all around the battle field.

Neji was defending Naruto blocking all the debris flying towards him, giving him the opportunity to form Rasenshuriken which were tossed towards the Ten Tails and the two Uchiha that stood atop it.

His Rasenshuriken were still rather short lived, some fading out before they could hit, and that's where Usagi came in. While ultimately her goal was to take care of Madara, she couldn't just run off and leave the Ten Tails to everyone here. The Tailed Beasts also needed to be saved, so she couldn't just leave... 

Using her Deva path, Usagi pushed all of Naruto's attacks right at the Beast, speeding up the time required for them to travel and also improving their accuracy.

"Thanks, Usagi!" The blonde said, concentrating and forming as many of his attack as he could.

Usagi didn't reply, she was too busy focussing.

It didn't take long for Naruto's movements to slow. The continuous attacks were taking a toll on him, slowing down his reflexes. That's why, as a large wave of sharp debris flew at him, he didn't move.

Usagi stared, wide eyed. Immediately, she used her Deva path jutsu to push the debris away... but there were too many...

"Naruto!!" Hinata jumped in front of him as he collapsed, his lack of chakra affecting him to a great degree.

A con to the jutsu Usagi was using was that between each movement, between each push or pull, she was powerless for five seconds.

It was that cruel 5 second wait between her attack that changed everything.
