Usagi 53
>>>>CHAPTER 53<<<<
>>>>In Hell<<<<Usagi had run away from home once before.
Now, when she was kicked out by her birth mother, that didn't count as running away, nor did the many times she had left the village unannounced to go Kami knows where. The time Usagi had run away had been different. It had been the first time she ran away, not disappeared or gone out, in the twelve years she and Kakashi had been living together, and it had been because of a rather bad disagreement.
You see, Kakashi and Usagi had had a number of arguments before, some worse than others.
One particular argument had ended up with Usagi bursting into tears, leaving the house without even so much as a second thought or glance, and spending the night at Anko's house.
Kakashi, who at first had been too mad to follow his daughter as she ran off, searched frantically for his eleven year old girl a few hours after the fight had happened and once he had calmed down, eventually finding her and apologizing more times that he could count.
That was the first time Usagi had run away from home.
And now was the second time. The only difference this time was that she had nowhere to go, and Kakashi wasn't looking for her.
So Usagi sat in the middle of the training grounds, tears running down her face one after another in a continuous stream. Often when she was upset she would sing to ease her emotions, she would sing the song her mother sang to her long ago, back when her mother had once loved her.
But she was too distressed to even do that.
Her mother, the one who had sang her that song... she had abused the girl. She hit her, swore at her... she had even raised weapons against her, scarring her physically and mentally.
And now Kakashi had done the same. It was only a slap- but that's how it always starts.
Usagi remembered everything. From the day she was born to the first time her mother hit her.
The first time her mother had hit her, her mother had slapped her across the cheek too. Then she punched her. Then she kicked her.
It wouldn't be long until Kakashi did the same.
Her dad- no. He wasn't her dad anymore. Just like everybody else had realized, Kakashi was realizing how worthless Usagi really was. Soon he would get rid of her, simply toss her aside just like her mother had done.
Usagi was alone. Who was she kidding when she told herself people cared?
Nobody cared about her.
And in return Usagi didn't care about anybody.
She was so distressed, so distressed that she didn't even care.
She didn't protest as a group of ANBU surrounded her.
She just silently cried as they carried her away.
Maybe they would end her pathetic life after all.
Usagi didn't deserve to live. She couldn't live without Kakashi.
Her thoughts drifted to Neji as she was taken away. Neji would miss her. But Neji was young, strong, and handsome. It wouldn't take long for him to move on and find someone else.
Usagi decided that this was for the better. If she were gone, everyone would be happier. All she ever did was ruin things after all.
Yeah. The world would be better off without her.
