Nakita ni Sandro na malungkot ka na naman. Kaya nilapitan ka niya at kinausap.
He sat beside you on the sofa. Inakbayan ka nya tsaka sya nagsalita.
"Is my adi okay, hmm?" He asked you and caressed your hair. "Nah." You answered and suppressed your tears from falling. "Hmm, no you're not. I know you're not because you're suppressing your tears from falling down from your eyes." Sabi ni Sandro sayo. "You really know me. You really know when I'm lying." Animo. "So tell me the truth. Why aren't you okay?" He asked you. "I just remembered the upcoming PVL Open Conference." Sabi mo sa kanya. "Oh about that, what's the update? Is ate Alyssa going to play for Creamline?" He asked. Bigla kang naiyak. "Why are you crying all of a sudden? Did I say something wrong? Look, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to ask about that thing. I'm really sorry." Sabi niya sayo. "Ha? A- ano. Alam mo namang nasasaktan ako kapag nakikita kitang malungkot, diba?" Sabi niya. Humarap ka sa kanya tsaka ka nagsalita. "Nasabi nga sa akin ni ate Aly. Sabi niya baka raw i- message mo na naman siya tapos humingi ka na naman ng tulong para lang mapangiti ako. Bakit mo nga pala ginawa yun?" You asked. "I told you, I hate seeing you cry. I hate to see you being sad. That's why I'll do everything for you to be happy." Sabi niya. "Really?" Sabi mo sa kanya. "Yes. Lahat gagawin ko mapasaya ka lang. Hinding hindi ako papayag na malungkot ka't masaktan. Tandaan mo yan." Aniya. "Of course I do remember that but the thing is is that really your way of loving someone? I mean it's okay for you to get hurt just to prevent her from being hurt?" He asked. He hugged you tight and kissed your forehead before he spoke. "Yes." He answered. "Bat ganyan ka magmahal?" You asked him. "Because that's how my parents loved me since I was born." Aniya. "Do you think I was able to reciprocate the love that you're giving me?" You suddenly asked. He looked at you in the eyes and said, "Yeah, of course. More than you think you do." Sabi niya sayo. "Adi?" You called him. "Hmm?" He answered. "Sorry." Sabi mo. "For what?" Nagtatakang tanong niya. "if there are times that I can't be there for you when you needed me the most. Sorry if I can't be like your girl best friend, Alexa, who's always beside you through your highs and lows." Sabi mo. "Wait, what?" Sabi niya sayo.Umiling siya saka muling nagsalita. "You're better than Alexa, okay? And you are the best Alexa that I've ever met. Remember that, ALEXAndria." Saad niya habang binibigyang diin ang Alexa sa second name mong Alexandria. "We can remove the ndria in your second name if you want to." Sabi niya pa kaya hindi mo napigilang tumawa. "Sira. Hindi pwede. Yun na yung nakalagay sa birth certificate ko." Natatawa mong saad. "Eh di I'll give you your new nickname. Alexa." Aniya. "Adi!!!" Pagmamaktol mo. "Bakit? Ayaw mo ba?" Sabi niya. "Haha. Ikaw talaga. Lahat gagawin mo para lang hindi ako malungkot, eh. Sige na. Pumapayag na akong ikaw ang tumawag sa akin ng Alexa. Sige na adi. Basta pumayag ka ring tawagin kitang Ferdie." Biro mo. "Ooh, Ferdie is short for Ferdinand? Okay, no problem." Aniya. "Himala, hindi ka kumontra." Sabi mo sa kanya. "Eh maganda naman ah. Tsaka walang tumatawag sa akin ng Ferdie. Kaya pumayag ako kaagad. Ikaw lang ang papayagan kong tumawag sa akin ng ganoon. Gusto mo kahit Ferdinand pa." Sabi niya. "Ayoko ng Ferdinand. Baka sabihin ni Mama Meldy tinatawag ko lolo mo." Animo. "Isa pa kapag tinawag kitang Ferdinand, baka isipin ni tito siya ang tinatawag ko knowing he's Ferdinand, Jr." Sabi mo. "May point ka nga naman. Mabuti na yung may originality ka." Natatawa niyang sambit. "Jusko nagbiro ka pa talaga." Saad mo. "Huwag ka nang malungkot na hindi makakalaro si ate Aly, ha? Hindi niya iiwan ang Creamline. Babawi siya sa mga susunod nilang laro. Gaya nga ng sabi niya, magpapagaling lang siya, okay?" Aniya. Agad kang sumang- ayon sa kanyang sinabi.
Pinagpahinga ka niya pagkatapos ninyong mag- usap.
